In this year of 2018, it’s an understatement to say that many liberal celebrities are using their hatred of President Donald Trump to attract attention to themselves.

That said, it should be no surprise that comedian Kathy Griffin and porn star Stormy Daniels appear to be besties these days.

Daniels actually attended Griffin’s stand-up show in Boston earlier this week, and the two women posed for a photo to show their hatred for the current sitting president — by flipping him off.

How very “adult” of them.

Griffin tweeted, “@StormyDaniels it was an honor to have you at my Boston show tonight,” after her show Thursday night. “I support you 100%! #F*** Trump.”

The two also seemed to get along well based on a couple of other tweets (which feature the f-word — too foul to show here).

Both these women, alliance or not, are known for their contempt for Trump.

In May 2017, Griffin posed for a highly controversial, ISIS-style photo stunt, in which she held up what looked like the bloodied head of the president. Although she apologized after the controversy, she quickly reversed course, tried playing the victim — and now has gone back to being anti-Trump.

Last August, she decided she was not sorry for anything. And earlier this month, she tweeted these lovely sentiments about our nation’s incredible first lady: “F*** you, Melanie [sic]. You know damn well your husband can end this immediately … You feckless complicit piece of s***.”

Daniels, for her part, gained notoriety this past winter when she claimed she’d had an affair with the president way back in 2006. She reportedly signed a nondisclosure agreement for $130,000, but after Trump won the presidential election, she broke the agreement.

Who do you think would win the Presidency?

There are suggestions she did all of this for monetary gain, as Forbes has noted, because shortly after the news broke, she left Wicked Pictures and struck a new agreement with Digital Playground, another adult film studio.

These days, far too many entertainment events and awards shows feature anti-Trump rants or tirades on stage — which the public has grown tired of, to be sure. Pro-Trump singer Joy Villa has even said she’s received death threats for her support of the president.

Griffin and Daniels — and many others — are pandering to an anti-Trump audience in the hope of earning more headlines and raking in more cash. Just imagine if anyone had pulled their stunt during Barack Obama’s presidency.

Odds are people would’ve been labeled racists, received threats — and never worked in their respective fields again.
