Late-night hosts predictably went after Donald Trump after Tuesday night’s State of the Union.

“I wouldn’t be surprised if his teleprompter was tuned to ‘Fox & Friends’ all the time,” said “Daily Show” host Trevor Noah following the SOTU, taking a particular jab at the president’s comment that all Americans can “dream anything.”

Noah said in response, “As long as you’re from Norway. All you other losers stay in your s***holes.”

In a blatant play for ratings, the increasingly political Jimmy Kimmel booked pornographic actress Stormy Daniels for a post-State of the Union show. Rumors swirled recently that the president had an affair with Daniels years ago, back in 2006.

Through an attorney, the president denied any such affair.

Daniels had shared details with a magazine about the alleged affair some years back, but she’s since issued official denials, essentially making the whole thing a non-story — but not for Kimmel.

During the interview, the comedian questioned whether Daniels’ signature on an official denial of the affair was real, only to later have Daniels’ attorney later confirm that it was.

“The signature is indeed hers,” attorney Keith Davidson told The Guardian. He added that Daniels signed it in the presence of her manager, Gina Rodriguez, as well as himself.

Kimmel even pulled out a doll with Trump’s likeness dressed in a shirt and underwear.

The rest of Kimmel’s interview was shockingly crude as he attempted to get Daniels to speak about Trump, though she never answered any questions about the president directly.

Late-night television hasn’t been fair and balanced for years now, but the format seems to be sinking to a new low on a weekly basis, as hosts desperately grasp at straws and go after every mere syllable out of the president’s mouth.
