Jimmy Fallon has joined the rest of the late-night hosts in taking low blows at President Donald Trump.
Last night on his show, Fallon was talking about Gary Cohn’s recent resignation from the White House when he and vocalist Black Thought of The Roots went into a bit about the number of people who have left the Trump administration.
Thought asked Fallon if he wanted to play the game “10 Seconds” — and try to name, in that time period, all 19 people who have been fired or have resigned from the White House.
Both men then tried to name all 19 people, including folks like Anthony Scaramucci, in 10 seconds.
Thought succeeded — Fallon failed.
One of the band members then suggested the audience do the same at home — and record themselves. Some participants might even be featured on the late-night show at some point.
While it all seemed like harmless fun, especially compared to the humor of other late-night programs, it’s sad to see Fallon go for the same low-hanging fruit that his fellow television hosts engage in almost incessantly.

Can any of these so-called late-night comedians do a single show without going after the current sitting president of the United States?
Now that would be a challenge.
