Jim Carrey once used his creative abilities to spread laughter through film.

He was one of the top actors of the 1990s, headlining hits like “Liar, Liar,” “The Mask,” “Dumb and Dumber,” and many more.

These days, he barely appears on camera — and mostly releases political paintings that attempt to openly smear anyone who dares to disagree with him.

One was a painting of the current president golfing on a course littered with dead children.

Carrey’s latest is a vile painting of White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders.

“This is the portrait of a so-called Christian whose only purpose in life is to lie for the wicked. Monstrous!” tweeted Carrey with the photo, which quite literally tries to turn Sanders into a monster.

It almost goes without saying that if a conservative artist had treated a liberal woman of power in such a way, the media would be up in arms, and words like “sexist” would be thrown around with a bunch of exclamation points added for good measure.

Conservative women have long been up for grabs, though.

People like Carrey seem deeply troubled — and threatened by powerful women who disagree with them.
