Gwen and Gavin? See you in court. Miranda and Blake? Lawyer up. Ben and Jennifer? Blame the nanny.

Hollywood marriages have a perilously short shelf life, and even unions that appear rock solid often end in acrimony. The latest sad news from La La Land reminds us the divorce rates outside of Tinsel Town remain alarmingly high — not the dreaded 50 percent statistic often cited, but still large enough for concern.

Then there are a few Hollywood couples who defy the norm, clinging tight despite industry and personal pressures. Some jobs make marriage harder than others. Celebrities travel often, receive exorbitant salaries and have their every foible focused on by the press and social media. And let’s not forget the temptations they face along the way.

A few Hollywood couples defy the norm, clinging tight despite industry and personal pressures.

Consider the enduring bonds displayed by Mel Brooks and Anne Bancroft, Ruby Dee and Ossie Davis, and Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward. Only death could interrupt their love stories. Their success stories, alas, are the exception.

Romance still reigns in Hollywood all the same. Consider these celebrity couples whose marriages endure despite the odds.

Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick: He’s the ageless star of “Footloose.” She’s the resourceful actress who starred in TNT’s “The Closer” for seven seasons. Together they’ve had two kids, displayed a united front to the media and avoided tabloid headlines. Married 27 years next month.

Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson: They met on the set of ABC’s “Bosom Buddies,” but the sparks didn’t officially fly until they teamed up for the 1985 comedy “Volunteers.” The movie proved forgettable, but their bond never wavered. Hanks stood by Wilson earlier this year when she underwent a double mastectomy after a breast cancer diagnosis. Hanks was the rom-com king for a good spell, but his off-screen partnership endures for the right reasons. Married 27 years.

Michael J. Fox and Tracy Pollan: The “Family Ties” star also met his future wife on a hit TV series. Pollan served as Fox’s love interest on his breakthrough NBC comedy, and their affections didn’t end with the show’s cancellation. Pollan stood by Fox through his various movie and TV roles, and remained right there following his Parkinson’s disease diagnosis. Married 27 years.

Ozzy Osbourne and Sharon Osbourne: He bites the heads off bats and doves for a living (and serves as a heavy metal deity). She’s the feisty reality TV star who judged unknowns on “America’s Got Talent.” They’ve raised three children, dealt with his heavy appetite for drugs and alcohol and reconciled often — even after he tried to strangle her while under the influence. While they are no one’s idea of a fit marriage, the two of them can’t be apart for long, apparently. She’s also served as a sage career counselor, creating Ozzfest and making sure her husband’s fame didn’t flicker out over time. Married 33 years.

Christopher Guest and Jamie Lee Curtis: The “Halloween” star first spotted Guest from a picture of him in full “This Is Spinal Tap” regalia. That’s my future husband, she remarked to a friend, pointing at “Nigel Tufnel,” Guest’s spoof alter image. Their romance didn’t ignite then and there, but once they finally starting spending time together the connection was clear. Married 30 years.
