While celebrities continue to unite on the #NotMyPresident front, it seems many are interested in profiting from President Donald Trump’s life story and his still-stunning election victory over Democrat Hillary Clinton.

Fox News recently reported that a miniseries written by political reporter Scott Conroy, called “Trump: It Happened Here,” is making the rounds in Hollywood and being pitched to various studios. It “begins with Mark Burnett pitching ‘The Apprentice’ to Trump,'” according to Fox.

Michael Bay even wants his piece of the Trump pie.

Deadline, too, has reported that a project from the creative force behind “Zero Dark Thirty,” producer Megan Ellison and writer Mark Boal, is underway — and that it, too, will focus on the 2016 election.

Michael Bay even wants his piece of the Trump pie — yes, “Transformers” and “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” Michael Bay. His project received its green light in January and according to The Hollywood Reporter will be based on a “Trump-inspired society.”

“Little America,” which is the working title, is being described as a futuristic adventure film set in the United States and featuring a “Trump-like president.” The Hollywood Reporter notes that Bay and his production company are set to produce the film from British filmmaker Rowan Athale (“Wasteland”), who wrote the spec script and is also attached to direct.

A further description from IndieWire about the film states: “Set in a dystopian future where America is bankrupt because China has called in its debts, the film follows a former America Force Recon member who is hired by a Chinese billionaire to go into an American ghetto and rescue his daughter.”

The upcoming seventh season of the popular “American Horror Story” is also reportedly jumping on the Trump train. Creator Ryan Murphy said recently on “Watch What Happens Live” that he’s basing the show’s newest storyline on the 2016 presidential election. When asked if there would be a Donald Trump or Trump-like character, Murphy replied enigmatically, “Maybe.”

Donald Trump has been president for a mere month and already Hollywood is hard at work trying to culturally define him through film and television. We’ve witnessed before how film can be a powerful tool in rewriting history when it comes to presidents. Projects like “Southside with You” and “Barry” helped divert attention away from Barack Obama’s failures and scandals as commander-in-chief — and instead cemented Hollywood’s love affair with the man.

Donald Trump will likely be receiving the opposite treatment in these upcoming projects. Hollywood has made their collective mind up about him already, of course. One month in — and they are already working on writing the man’s history.
