Facebook may be realizing it made an error in its censorship of two of President Donald Trump’s most vocal supporters: Diamond and Silk.

Fox News reports that the tech giant is reconsidering its recent classification of videos — from Diamond, (Lynnette Hardaway shown above left) and Silk (Rochelle Richardson, above right) — that it currently labels “unsafe to the community.”

“We are aware of this issue,” Facebook told Fox News. “We are reaching out to the creators of Diamond & Silk to try and resolve this matter.”

The reconsideration came after the duo appeared on the morning show “Fox and Friends” recently to discuss the topic.

The two sisters from North Carolina — who have over 1.3 million Facebook followers — often speak out against left-wing media bias and in favor of the sitting president. The former Democrats claim Facebook did not explain why their videos were being censored.

The two discussed the matter with host Laura Ingraham on Monday night’s “The Ingraham Angle” — and perhaps their most notable point is that they had not heard from anyone at Facebook about the issue other than a recent email saying their brand was “unsafe to the community.”

“We are the brand,” Diamond said. “[We’re] two chicks with style and politics who [love] our president and [love] our country. We are the women behind all this. When you say we’re ‘unsafe to the community,’ what you’re saying is we are a danger to our community. I don’t get that. It’s offensive. It’s appalling. It’s discrimination. What about our freedom of speech? They are censoring our voices.”

Ingraham noted the Left can be particularly vicious toward conservative African-Americans, citing the treatment of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas.

“That’s offensive to the Left,” Ingraham said of Diamond and Silk’s support for Trump. “They want to silence people like you. They are afraid of both of you. They don’t want that.”

Silk agreed.

“We do not fit their status quo or their narrative,” she said. “You know, the Democrats are so used to us being a part of the Democrat plantation. ‘You’re supposed to play by our rules. You’re supposed to depend on what the government gives you so that you don’t have much, so that we can control you.’ But Diamond and Silk — we have our own minds. We don’t listen to those negative narratives that they try to send over there.”

While Facebook appears to be trying to keep certain voices down, Ingraham noted there are far more volatile Facebook pages on the Left that are left untouched. A few of these groups are the domestic terror group Antifa, the abortion provider Planned Parenthood, and The Young Turks, a company that uses excessive amounts of profanity, she noted.

Diamond and Silk said they’re not criminals or threats to society; what they want is the ability to exercise their free speech in a public arena and reach as many people as possible. With Facebook’s current censure of them, however, this is not an easy task without access to the audience they worked so hard to build.
