Cynthia Nixon, a star of “Sex and the City” and a potential future governor of New York, is no fan of ICE.

The newly minted politician has labeled the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency a “terrorist organization” and called for its abolition.

“ICE has strayed so far away from its mission. It is supposed to be here to keep Americans safe but what it has turned into, frankly, is a terrorist organization of its own that is terrorizing people who are coming to this country,” she said at a church on Manhattan’s Upper West Side, according NY1 News.

Nixon was reportedly referring to the fact that an illegal immigrant took sanctuary in the church after failing to produce identification at a traffic stop run by ICE agents.

Her words followed another campaign stop on ABC’s “The View,” in which she also went after ICE.

“I think we need to abolish ICE. That seems really clear. They have strayed so far from the interests of the American people and the interests of humanity,” she said.

New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo has said in a statement that he does not believe in abolishing ICE. And since announcing her candidacy for governor this year, Nixon has managed to be even further left-leaning than Cuomo — and has given him a run for his money among his liberal supporters.

Whether Nixon can turn her campaign for governor into something more than extremist rhetoric is anyone’s guess, but she has certainly made her far-Left positions clear, and she’s not going away anytime soon.
