We’ve only just begun the fourth month of 2018, but already there have been more than a handful of worthy and right-leaning pictures that have made their way to theaters.

This is despite the fact that Hollywood’s become more and more aggressively leftist.

Here is a look at the three best conservative movies of 2018 so far.

1.) “12 Strong.” This film tells the powerful true story of the first American soldiers to land in Afghanistan after the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

With very limited supplies, the servicemen worked with Afghanistan rebels and were eventually forced to fight on horseback.

Produced by the king of patriotic cinema, Jerry Bruckheimer, “12 Strong” is a powerful and intensely made salute to the daring people who did and still do volunteer to wear a military uniform for this country.

2.) “The 15:17 to Paris.” Yet another powerful and patriotic film released so far this year is “15:17 to Paris,” directed by Clint Eastwood.

Never one to let age quell inspiration, Eastwood — now in his late 80s — made the unique decision to have the three actual heroes of his movie play themselves on the screen.

It was a fantastic decision. The young men — Spencer Stone, Alek Skarlatos and Anthony Sadler — all have great chemistry and are almost certainly more relatable than any of the potential young actors who might have portrayed them.

Some on the Left went after “15:17 to Paris” for telling the story solely from the boys’ perspectives — and for not giving enough screen time or empathy to the terrorist who aimed to take a lot of lives if not for the courage and strength of a handful of citizens. But such whining should simply be expected these days.

“The 15:17 to Paris” is a patriotic film that refuses to bow to the political pressures of modern Hollywood.

Eastwood spends much of the film creating recognizable friends — and then pulls the rug out from under the audience when the main action sequence happens. It’s both gripping and jarring.

This will undoubtedly remain one of the truly unique films of 2018 — and one of the best.

3.) “Death Wish.” Leftist snowflakes were already ripping their hair out months before the “Death Wish” remake hit theaters.

The film is just as unforgiving as the Charles Bronson-starring original, a classic piece of vigilante cinema.

This remake, starring Bruce Willis, is unabashedly pro-Second Amendment and shows no sympathy toward the criminals who take innocent life.

Director Eli Roth has put together a tough-as-nails but still fun piece of politically incorrect action cinema. It’s even more impressive simply for existing in today’s bubble-wrapped, safe space-seeking and leftist-leaning Hollywood.
