Get enough Hollywood actors together in one place, and the conversation will predictably turn toward the president.

Sunday night’s Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards proved this in spades.

During her opening monologue, actress Kristen Bell took a shot at first lady Melania Trump for her commitment to helping to end cyberbullying in this country.

“There has never been a host for this awards show,” Bell said. “First time. First person. First lady. I honestly never thought I would grow up to be the first lady, but you know what? I kind of like it.”

She continued, “I think my first initiative as first lady will be cyberbullying because I have yet to see any progress on that problem quite yet.”

The “Frozen” star also praised recent Women’s March protesters in a veiled shot at the president.

“We are living in a watershed moment and as we march forward with active momentum and open ears, let’s make sure we are leading the charge with empathy and diligence,” Bell said. “Because fear and anger never win the race.”

“Fear and anger,” you say? Anger is being so against an administration, so rooting for it to fail that one even balks at the first lady’s efforts to try to end cyberbullying against children in this country.

Fear is being so scared that she (and others) will succeed that one constantly needs to take jabs at the president in front of one’s liberal Hollywood friends in order to validate one’s constant and unreasonable anti-Trumpness.
