Catwoman/Batman. Adam West’s Batman was nothing like the characters brought to the big screen by such as actors Ben Affleck and Christian Bale. Those Batmans struggled, made mistakes, and fought a darkness in them that made for dramatic, introspective storytelling.

West’s Batman was straight-laced and always followed the letter of the law. He was a man who firmly believed in right and wrong and would keep himself on the right side of justice no matter the temptations. The most entertaining temptation put in front of him time and time again was Catwoman (most famously played on the series by Julie Newmar). West’s reactions to Catwoman’s flirtations were always fun. His stone-cold reactions were the kind of corny pleasures that made his version of Batman so popular.
