Most people are smart to be watching the 2016 Summer Olympics from the safety of their own couches. Rio is a gigantic mess and there are just a few days until the opening ceremony. Officials — and the rest of us — hope Rio will have its act together by the time tourists, spectators and the rest of the elite athletes arrive.
