It is no secret that politically correct Hollywood liberals hate the thought of a Donald Trump presidency. The billionaire businessman makes their blood boil. But aren’t these the very people Trump would love to have clamoring against him?

Almost every day we see A-list actors making headlines for their liberal political advocacy, and Americans are tired of hearing about it. That must go particularly for the conservative base Trump appeals most to — and whose turn out and votes he needs to defeat his chief rival, Texas Sen. Ted Cruz. The more Hollywood liberals hate him, the more votes pile up for Trump.

Celebrities have now banded together in an effort named “Stop Hate, Dump Trump.” The organization’s website calls Trump’s candidacy “a grave threat to democracy, freedom, human rights, equality, and the welfare of our country and all our people.” The site decries Trump’s “hateful and divisive rhetoric,” begging the media to stop giving the GOP front-runner “unequal air time” and to condemn his rhetoric “appropriately.”

“The Hollywood elite lining up against Donald Trump will only embolden him.”

“The Hollywood elite lining up against Donald Trump will only embolden him,” said Lisa Boothe, political strategist and president of High Noon Strategies. “Republicans hate the likes of Michael Moore and liberals like him who love Palestine, hate America, and despise capitalism. These guys are the worst of the worst.”

Among the celebrities in the anti-Trump group are some of the most notorious liberal activists, such as Kerry Washington, Rosie O’Donnell, Jane Fonda and Moore.

That cast of characters alone is enough to make Trump laugh off this ridiculous movement, especially because many of them have a history of using divisive and disgusting rhetoric against conservatives.

When her son decided to join the military, O’Donnell said, “He has been accepted to the Citadel. He is very into the military because, how do you annoy your left-wing, liberal-pacifist mother? You become a big military man.”

In a radio interview when asked about pro-lifers, she said, “I’d like to take my period blood I no longer have and write, ‘You’re all a**holes.’ I’d like to smear it all over some people’s faces.” Clearly, O’Donnell is a very tolerant woman.

Who do you think would win the Presidency?

Washington, famous for her role as Olivia Pope on ABC’s “Scandal,” is well-known for her progressive ideology. On the show, her character underwent an abortion, which was broadcast to millions of viewers while the song “Silent Night” played in the background. The actress is a proud supporter of the controversial organization, Planned Parenthood, tweeting, “#ProudFeministTweet I stand with @PPFA in the fight against attacks on women and our repro health freedom. #StandwithPP.”

Washington has also spoken at the American Civil Liberties Union’s annual “Bill of Rights” banquet, an event focused around inequality, with other outspoken liberals such as MSNBC’s Melissa Harris-Perry and Moore.

Fonda is an Oscar-winning American actress, but she is probably best known for her extreme political activism. Throughout her life, she has been a loud anti-war activist — specifically, during the Vietnam War when she earned the nickname “Hanoi Jane.” She angered many Americans and was seen as a traitor by some for her support of North Vietnam, when she posed for photos sitting atop equipment used to kill American troops fighting in the war.

Moore’s claim to fame is making controversial documentaries touting universal health care, bashing capitalism, and conveying anti-war themes. Moore was previously the editor of Mother Jones magazine, a liberal rag. He often makes outlandish statements such as, “White people scare the crap out of me,” and “Capitalism is against the things we say we believe in — democracy, freedom of choice, fairness.” And yet capitalism puts in his pockets tens of millions of dollars a year.

“There are few things more boring and predictable than coddled left-wing celebrities making political statements,” said conservative analyst Monica Crowley. “If they had really wanted to damage Mr. Trump, they should have kept their mouths shut.

“What they fail to understand is that in this fierce anti-establishment climate, any time any elite — from Washington, business, entertainment — attacks him, it only has one effect: to drive his support up,” Crowley added. “The Trump campaign should send them thank-you notes — and hope for more criticism from the out-of-touch confines of Beverly Hills.”

Americans are tired of actors and actresses whining about issues like inequality and minimum wage while they live a life of luxury. No doubt, Trump can’t decide whether he is more amused or pleased by their attacks.
