The women of “The View” trashed Donald Trump last month for his comments about fellow GOP presidential candidate Carly Fiorina in the pages of Rolling Stone magazine.

How could a serious contender refer to another candidate as “that face,” belittling her appearance rather than critiquing her positions, they cried in near unison? The comments clearly connected with Trump’s antipathy toward women, or so the co-hosts hoped viewers would think.

But on Thursday, the “View” panel said far worse things about Fiorina’s visage — without a hint of irony.

Fiorina, taking part in Wednesday’s GOP debate on CNBC, was discussing how some said she didn’t smile enough during the previous debate. So to counter that narrative she smiled big and wide for the CNBC cameras.

How did “The View” co-hosts respond? With vicious mockery. So vicious that CNN anchor Brooke Baldwin played the clip and then tore into the show’s talent.

“I saw something today that angered me. Not just as a journalist, but as a woman,” Baldwin said while introducing the clip.

“She looks demented … she seems demented … her face was like a Halloween mask,” co-host Michelle Collins said in the clip.

Another co-host, Joy Behar, chimed in, saying she wished “Smiling Fiorina” was a Halloween mask.

“Can you imagine? It’d give me nightmares,” Collins responded.

A stone-face Baldwin was not amused. “We can do better,” she said.
