The Democratic congresswoman from California certainly speaks her mind.

Even before President Donald Trump was elected in November 2016, here’s what Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) said about the Tea Party, back in 2011: “I am not afraid of anybody. This is a tough game. You can’t be intimidated. You can’t be frightened. And as far as I’m concerned, the Tea Party can go straight to hell.”

And what was the context of those remarks?

She was addressing her supporters in Inglewood, California.

But that’s actually mild compared to some of the comments she’s made about the current sitting president and members of his administration.

Waters even admitted to Elle back in February of this year, “I do say outrageous things sometimes.”

“I found out that people love me to say it. And it’s something that they want to say, or they’ve been thinking about, but they just never had the courage to say it,” Waters insisted.

Whether a person agrees or disagrees with the chief executive’s policies, platforms, or statements, one would think an elected official of this country would show a bit more civility.

But here are 10 of Rep. Waters’ wildest statements, aimed either at Trump or his officials:

1.) “Already, you have members of your Cabinet that have been booed out of restaurants, who have protesters taking up at their house who sang, ‘No peace, no sleep. No peace, no sleep.’ And guess what, we’re going to win this battle … So let’s stay the course. Let’s make sure we show up wherever we have to show up. And if you see anybody from that Cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd and you push back on them and you tell them they’re not welcome anymore, anywhere … Mr. President, we will see you every day, every hour of the day, everywhere that we are to let you know you cannot get away with this.” — Spoken on June 23, 2018, at a rally outside a federal office building in Los Angeles, as Waters called for pressure on the Trump administration over its now-terminated policy that separated immigrant families at the U.S.-Mexico border.

2.) “These members of his Cabinet who remain and try to defend [Trump], they won’t be able to go to a restaurant, they won’t be able to stop at a gas station, they’re not going to be able to shop at a department store. The people are going to turn on them,” Waters said Saturday during an interview on MSNBC. “They’re going to protest. They’re absolutely going to harass them until they decide that they’re going to tell the president, ‘No, I can’t hang with you.'”

3.) “When we fight against this president, and we point out how dangerous he is for this society and for this country, we’re fighting for the democracy,” Waters said on the House floor in March 2017. “And my mission and my goal is to make sure that he does not remain president of the United States of America.”

4.) “I don’t honor him, I don’t respect this president,” Waters said on MSNBC in April 2017. “I don’t think that he deserves to be president of this great country. I am very concerned about him, and I really think he’s dangerous. This is abnormal what we’re experiencing with this president.”

5.) “Wow, what a moving evening this is,” Waters told supporters during an event at the Ali Forney Center in New York City in October 2017. “I’m sitting here listening, watching, absorbing, thinking about Ali even though I never met him. And with this kind of inspiration, I will go and take Trump out tonight.”

6.) “I don’t see myself meeting with [Trump], sitting down with him, believing anything he would say or even respecting anything he would say,” Waters told the Associated Press in March 2017. “It would not be honest on my part to go to any ceremonies with him or to pretend I am having a decent conversation with him … My spirit tells me I cannot be silent. I must address this so-called president, no matter where it takes me.”

7.) “I will not sit idly by and allow the president of the United States to disrespect so many people, to lie to us, and to dog whistle to the white nationalists, and the KKK, and the white supremacists,” Waters told Elle in February 2018. “And so, I’m determined, and I have the energy, and I have the will, and it’s not anger as much as it is kind of toughness and willing to fight.”

8.) “I think [Trump] believes in nothing,” Waters told “The Breakfast Club” radio show in August 2017. “I think that he cares about nothing. I think that he’s capable of doing outrageous things.”

Saying she believes “it is possible to impeach” Trump, Waters predicted, “I give it to about December.”

9.) “And when we finish with Trump we have to go and get [Vice President Mike Pence]. He’s next,” Waters said of impeachment during an interview with ABC News’ “The View” in August 2017.

10.) “No longer can members of Congress, particularly Republicans, stand with such a dangerous, disturbed, and deceitful man who is a threat to everything for which America, the greatest democracy on earth, stands,” Waters said in a January 2018 statement reacting to Trump’s alleged controversial rhetoric about “s***hole countries.” “Congress has a constitutional responsibility to impeach him without delay.”
