MSNBC’s Mika Brzezinski lashed out at the women of Fox News Wednesday after facing criticism on Fox’s “Outnumbered” for a teary-eyed, anti-Trump tirade she delivered Monday morning.

“Mika’s sad,” explained Brzezinski’s “Morning Joe” co-host Joe Scarborough Wednesday morning. “So yesterday they have this show on Fox called ‘Outnumbered,'” he began.

“And all these people with long legs and short skirts talk about how people feel about the news,” fired Brzezinski immediately, interrupting Scarborough before he could continue.

“I don’t know about that,” stuttered a visibly uncomfortable Scarborough, “but they have 30 women or something and then they get one guy in the middle and it’s called ‘Outnumbered,'” he continued.

Brzezinski’s sexist barb is all the more notable since she authored “Know Your Value,” a book described by The Atlantic as “a rallying cry for women to get the money they deserve.”

But apparently Brzezinski is yet another liberal willing to abandoned any notion of “sisterhood” as soon as she’s criticized. The sexist nature of her comment was only highlighted by her and Scarborough’s attempts to portray Brzezinski herself as a victim of sexism.

“People said she was crying and tearing up just because she was upset — nothing sexist there,” scoffed Scarborough. “When Joe amps up and speaks to camera, and is really, really forceful, he’s strong; I’m emotional,” Brzezinski observed.

Ironically, the dig from Brzeinkski on the working women at Fox News was made on International Women’s Day — an occasion many women are using to skip work in order to allegedly showcase the value of females in society.
