Mainstream Media Blind to Hillary’s Warmongering

A series of hashtags and accompanying fake campaign posters highlighting Hillary Clinton’s bellicose tendencies went viral on social media last week after she announced her support for extending the draft to women.

The fake ads show female soldiers or families and contain messages such as “Hillary will keep our family safe. I will do my part. Pre-register for the draft today,” designed to highlight Clinton’s support for drafting women and her desired conflict with Russia. The subversive ads include hashtags like #draftourdaughters, #draftourwifes, and #noflyzone.

Were one to rely solely on the mainstream liberal media, one would think the greatest current threat to world peace is Donald Trump’s vulgarity.

One would think — given current geopolitical realities — that U.S.-Russian relations would be the central and driving question of this campaign. NATO is currently undergoing its largest military buildup since the Cold War, and both Russian and U.S. military commanders have threatened to fire on the opposing country’s forces in the face of aggression in Syria.

The U.S. has accused Russia of war crimes, Russia has recently updated its nuclear arsenal, and President Obama has overseen the largest spending increase on nuclear weaponry research and development in the country’s history. Conflict is coming.

Meanwhile, Clinton herself continues to parrot the Obama administration’s escalating rhetoric about Russian aggression and call for a no-fly zone — the easiest doorway to open conflict with Russia.

“No-fly zones are not a simple matter. You don’t just declare a no-fly zone,” former Pentagon’s Defense Policy Board Chair Richard Perle said in an interview with Newsmax TV on Thursday.

“You have to be prepared to enforce it. That means having aircraft in the skies over the no-fly zone. It means using those aircraft to attack targets on the ground, which could include Russian forces, Russian anti-aircraft batteries, and the like. So it’s tougher to put a no-fly zone than she implies,” Perle continued.

However, were one to rely solely on the mainstream liberal media, one would think the greatest current threat to world peace is Donald Trump’s vulgarity or use of tax exemptions in the 1990s. While the mainstream media’s pro-Clinton bias is so blatant that at times it’s even funny, its refusal to discuss what appears to be an increasingly likely conflict will surely go down in history as its greatest shame.

Indeed, not only has the mainstream media never once dared to question the Obama/Clinton myths about Russian aggression, they’ve been eagerly aiding the Democrats and their globalist masters in spreading those myths.

During the second presidential debate, moderators Martha Raddatz and Anderson Cooper insinuated Russia is guilty of war crimes and selected a question via Facebook tailor-made to reinforce the media myth of Russian President Vladimir Putin as a kind of 21st century Hitler.

“Just days ago, the State Department called for a war crimes investigation of the Syrian regime of Bashar al-Assad and of its ally, Russia, for their bombardment of Aleppo,” said Raddatz. “If you were president, what would you do about Syria and the humanitarian crisis in Aleppo?” she asked.

When liberals in the mainstream media aren’t busy trying to paint Putin as a bloodthirsty war criminal, they are doing their utmost to sustain the myth that he is somehow interfering in U.S. elections.

Indeed, the myth of Russian interference in the election has been covered by nearly every single left-leaning and mainstream news organization, and has grown so strong that Putin himself weighed in on the accusations last week, calling them “sheer nonsense.”

“It’s just an instrument of political struggle, a way of manipulating public opinion,” Putin said. “We don’t know how Trump or Clinton will behave, what they will or will not deliver,” he continued. “We feel more or less indifferent about it.” But even that hasn’t slowed down the mainstream media. Liberal news site The Daily Beast published an article on Sunday detailing Putin’s alleged “Campaign to Seduce, Subvert and Screw Over Western Democracies — Including Ours.”

Behold the sad sorry state of the American mainstream media: They have not only abandoned their duty to hold to account the American government and its leaders, but are now actively and eagerly spreading propaganda designed to justify moving closer to war.
