The New York Times ran a “laughable” hit piece on Donald Trump Saturday, LifeZette Editor-in-Chief Laura Ingraham said Monday on “Fox and Friends” on Fox News, calling the piece “all the news that’s fit to recycle.”

Ingraham said the article was “ridiculous” and a failed attempt to depict Trump as a womanizer — to dull the presumptive GOP front-runner’s attacks on Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton for enabling her husband’s alleged sexual deviance.

“It it more relevant today than it was in 2008, to read what the Clintons did … to defame and destroy these women.”

“A guy who has a club down in Florida, who was either separated from his wife or single, likes women?” Ingraham said, mocking the premise of the piece.

“It’s laughable. It’s absolutely laughable,” Ingraham added, emphasizing it’s nothing in comparison to what likely Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton’s husband has done to women.

“Meanwhile, Bill Clinton actually raped Juanita Broaddrick. Hillary Clinton set about to destroy the reputations of women,” said Ingraham.

Ingraham strongly suggested that everyone go back and read Christopher Hitchens’ 2008 piece “The Case Against Hillary Clinton.”

“It it more relevant today than it was in 2008, to read what the Clintons did, the whole family drama — using state troopers to facilitate trysts, everything [Hillary] did to defame and destroy these women who were either, as Juanita, raped or these other people abused by her husband,” said Ingraham.

Trump’s ex-girlfriend, who was featured in the article, said on Fox News that The New York Times misquoted her and “spun” what she said about her experience with Trump in a way that it appeared negative, but she did not have a negative experience with Trump.

“It was very upsetting. I was not happy to read [the article] at all,” said Trump’s ex-girlfriend. “I don’t know how many other girls feel like they were misquoted, but I know that for a fact I was.”
