Fox News host Sean Hannity thanked his “deplorable” fans Sunday night for showing their support by boycotting companies that pulled their advertisements from “Hannity” in the wake of the host’s controversial interview with Senate candidate Roy Moore (R-Ala.).

Hannity angered some of his frequent critics by interviewing Moore after the GOP nominee was accused of sexually abusing a 14-year-old girl back when he was 32. During the course of the interview, Moore denied the allegations against him, although he admitted he may have dated teenagers who are above the age of consent.

Hannity urged his listeners to avoid rushing to judgment.

Using the interview as a springboard, the liberal Media Matters for America site targeted Hannity’s advertisers, including Keurig.

“Good afternoon @Keurig. You are currently sponsoring Sean Hannity’s show. He defends child molester Roy Moore and attacks women who speak out against sexual harassment. Please reconsider,” MMFA president Angelo Carusone tweeted Friday.

In response to Carusone, Keurig tweeted Saturday, “Angelo, thank you for your concern and for bringing this to our attention. We worked with our media partner and FOX news to stop our ad from airing during the Sean Hannity Show.”

At least five companies said they would withdraw their advertisements from Hannity’s Fox News show, including 23andme, ELOQUII, Nature’s Bounty, and realtor.com.

“We can confirm that we do not have advertisements running on this program,” Nature’s Bounty tweeted Friday.

“We’ve received inquiries RE: advertising on Hannity,” 23andme tweeted Friday. “We are not running TV advertising on Hannity. We continue to closely evaluate where we advertise.”

But Keurig in particular took heat from Hannity’s loyal fans, who took to Twitter to post videos of themselves smashing and destroying their Keurig machines. The hashtag #BoycottKeurig trended all throughout Sunday on Twitter as the Fox News host’s fans expressed their support.

“I am humbled and speechless and frankly laughing my ass off. I love all my deplorable friends. Thank you and Game on!!” Hannity tweeted Sunday night.

The “deplorable friends” comment hearkened back to 2016 Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton’s derisive dismissal of President Donald Trump’s supporters. During a speech in September 2016, Clinton said, “You could put half of Trump’s supporters into what I call the basket of deplorables.” This basket consisted of people with “racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamaphobic” tendencies. The comments backfired on Clinton during the final months leading up to Election Day.

The Fox News host retweeted a few of his fans’ videos and also tweeted out a 2015 Huffington Post article called “Your Keurig Machine May Be Covered in Bacteria and Mold.”

This wasn’t the first time that MMFA targeted Hannity and launched a campaign targeting his advertisers. Back in August, the liberal site called upon companies to withdraw their advertisements after Hannity defended President Donald Trump for his response to the deadly, race-fueled rally in Charlottesville, Virginia.

MMFA’s “Stop Sean Hannity” campaign prominently featured a list of all of Hannity’s advertisers and warned the companies that they “will get burned if they continue to associate with Hannity.”

Hannity targeted MMFA, along with The New York Times and The Washington Post, in another tweet Sunday as he expressed his displeasure at their hostility, saying, “.@keurig @nytimes @washingtonpost why are you supporting the anti free speech bigot who runs @mmfa ? Read & learn.”
