The Clinton campaign has released a campaign ad seeking to tie Donald Trump to violent white supremacist movements.

Amid fresh scandal implicating Clinton in possible acts of official corruption, the escalated, racially charged rhetoric from her campaign represents a desperate ploy to keep the race focused solely on Trump.

The flagrantly dishonest commercial features images of Ku Klux Klansmen and attempts to smear Trump’s positions on immigration, trade, and anti-terror policies by associating them with racism.

The video also smears the Alt-Right movement and those, like Trump campaign CEO Steve Bannon, sympathetic to anti-Establishment positions on those three issues, describing them as “the sort of dressed-up-in-suits version of the neo-Nazi and white supremacist movements.”

Liberals have long shouted down conservative opinion and free and open debate by crying racism, but never before has this been official Democratic campaign strategy in a presidential election.

The Trump campaign released a statement from Pastor Mark Burns hammering the ad.

“Hillary Clinton and her campaign went to a disgusting new low today as they released a video tying the Trump campaign with horrific racial images,” said Trump surrogate Burns, an African-American, in a statement.

“This type of rhetoric and repulsive advertising is revolting and completely beyond the pale. I call on Hillary Clinton to disavow this video and her campaign for this sickening act that has no place in our world,” Burns said.
