When the gavel drops this afternoon in Philadelphia, Democrats will rally around the theme “United Together.” The theme is meant not only to hide deepening divisions within the Democrat Party, but also the presumptive nominee’s divisive record of favoritism for the few.

“Hillary Clinton’s economic agenda is driven by Wall Street, pro-amnesty business elites and radical left-wing ideologues,” Heritage Action CEO Michael A. Needham said. “The well-connected elites may thrive under a Clinton regime, just as they have during the Obama administration, but hardworking Americans across the country will suffer.”

What does “United Together” mean to Hillary Clinton? Catering to Wall Street. Amnesty for illegal immigrants. And “fair scheduling” for all of those that lose their jobs as a result.

Americans rightly feel Washington works for the well-connected at the expense of everyone else. Hillary Clinton’s relationship with Goldman Sachs serves to reinforce that notion. Goldman Sachs employees have donated nearly $900,000 to Clinton during her political career. Then, between 2013 and 2015, she made three speeches to Goldman employees that netted her nearly $800,000 in total. And Goldman donated at least $1 million to the Clinton Foundation — perhaps as much as $5 million.

Clinton has also pledged to advance one of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s top legislative priorities: amnesty. Earlier this year, she made her intentions clear:

“We need comprehensive immigration reform with a path to full and equal citizenship. If Congress won’t act, I’ll defend President Obama’s executive actions — and I’ll go even further to keep families together. I’ll end family detention, close private immigrant detention centers, and help more eligible people become naturalized.”

Over the weekend, presumptive vice presidential nominee Tim Kaine promised such action would happen “in the first 100 days.” Clinton’s website goes even further, saying “She believes we should let families — regardless of immigration status — buy into the Affordable Care Act exchanges.”

While illegal immigrants receive Obamacare, what would a Clinton-Kaine administration plan for hardworking Americans across the country? In March, Clinton made her intentions clear: “We’re going to put a lot of coal miners and coal companies out of business.”

Backpedaling on those comments two months later, Clinton explained, “It was a misstatement because what I was saying is the way things are going now, [the coal industry] will continue to lose jobs. It didn’t mean that we were going to do it. What I said is that is going to happen unless we take action to help and prevent it.”

How does Hillary Clinton plan to help those that lose their jobs because government rules and regulations are crippling certain industries? With further micromanagement of the economy and mandates on employers:

“Fair pay and fair scheduling, paid family leave and earned sick days, childcare are essential to our competitiveness and our growth. And we can do this in a way that doesn’t impose unfair burdens on businesses, especially small businesses.”

What does “United Together” mean to Hillary Clinton? Catering to Wall Street. Amnesty for illegal immigrants. And “fair scheduling” for all of those that lose their jobs as a result. That isn’t an agenda to provide opportunity for all.
