Judging the parenting styles and choices of other moms is wrong — and so easy to do. We’ve all been there — both on the doing end and on the receiving end.

Now one mom from Warren, Ohio, has a message for all moms: Ladies, acceptance and encouragement need to occur in a judgment-free zone.

Ashle Potter has a simple message in her March 9 Facebook post that is rocking the internet: You’re doing great, Mom.

“Any mom who cares and does her best is a good mom. Thank you, Lord, for Moms,” wrote one commenter.

The expectant mother posted a photo of herself with her kids and a moving open letter to all moms — including stay-at-home moms, working moms, bottle-feeding moms and nursing moms — to let them know that she understands them and she thinks they’re doing a great job. Moms everywhere are relating to this big time. Her post so far has been shared over 83,000 times — and has been liked over 67,000 times.

One Facebook user commented, “Amen … geesh, let’s give each other a break!” while another posted, “Good reminders. Any mom who cares and does her best is a good mom. Thank you, Lord, for Moms.”

Potter wrote, “To the mom who’s breastfeeding: Way to go! It really is an amazing gift to give your baby, for any amount of time that you can manage! You’re a good mom.”

For bottle babies and their moms? “To the mom who’s formula feeding: Isn’t science amazing? To think there was a time when a baby with a mother who couldn’t produce enough would suffer, but now? Better living through chemistry! You’re a good mom.”

For moms who rock it old-school in swaddling those cute baby bottoms? Potter enthused, “To the cloth diapering mom: Fluffy bums are the cutest, and so friendly on the bank account,” Potter wrote. “You’re a good mom.”

And for those moms who love their Huggies? “To the disposable diapering mom: Wow, those things hold a lot, and it’s excellent to not worry about leakage and laundry! You’re a good mom.”

And then there’s one of the thorniest issues — work and career choices: “To the mom who stays home: I can imagine it isn’t easy doing what you do, but to spend those precious years with your babies must be amazing,” Potter opined. “You’re a good mom.”

And for the mom in an office (who may have been crying all the way there)? “To the mom who works: It’s wonderful that you’re sticking to your career. You’re a positive role model for your children in so many ways, it’s fantastic,” Potter encouraged. “You’re a good mom.”

Potter ends her moving and affirmative open letter with a message every mom should embrace: “To the moms who judge other moms for ANY of the above? Glass houses, friend. Glass houses.”
