A pre-school teacher in Arlington, Texas, was suspended from her classroom after she told a friend in a tweet to “kill some Jews.”

“Have a safe trip, Lulu,” Nancy Salem, a teacher at The Children’s Courtyard, posted. “I love you baby girl! See you in three weeks! Kiss the Palestine ground for me and kill some jews!”

Nancy Salem is among 24 anti-Israel activists at the University of Texas, Arlington (UTA), according to Algemeiner.com and other news sources. Canary Mission, a campus watchdog group, exposed the activists for expressing racist views online. Salem also retweeted: “How many Jews died in the Holocaust? Not enough!”

Said a Jewish woman who is active in her synagogue in southern Maryland, “While the media continuously under-reports it, we know there is hatred and bigotry against Jews. They [the media] are interested in defending LGBTs and minorities, but sadly, Jewish citizens seem not to matter. And shame on this college for not disbanding an obviously hate-filled campus group.”

Salem — a member of the UTA chapter of Students for Justice in Palestine — also posted to social media in the past, “How was the copper wire invented? They threw a penny between two jews.”

The Children’s Courtyard’s Facebook page has been flooded with comments criticizing the school — and residents are calling on parents to remove their children.

Lydia Cisaruk, director of communications for The Children’s Courtyard chain of schools, told LifeZette in an email, “Providing a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment is of the utmost importance to us. The offensive comments certainly don’t reflect our views. Our employees are supposed to uphold certain standards of personal and professional conduct. Our senior leadership thoroughly investigated this matter. This person no longer works for our company.”

One can only imagine the outcry from the Left if a teacher had tweeted out a violent thought about Muslims. And some people in Arlington were not happy with the lack of immediacy in the termination of Salem.

Facebook user Yulia Kushner posted to the school’s Facebook page, “You expose innocent children to a monster and then would not discuss what steps are taken to insure she is nowhere near the kids? How do you expect public to trust you after that?”

A UTA spokesman told The Algemeiner, “As one of the most diverse campuses in the nation, inclusion and respect are at the very core of the values of UTA. UTA condemns statements of hate while acknowledging the principles of free speech and open expression. We welcome and encourage the sharing of ideas, thoughts and opinions, but we also expect respect and civility from students, faculty and staff.”
