President Donald Trump rebuked The Red Hen — the restaurant that refused a family meal to press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders over the weekend — Monday morning on Twitter.

“The Red Hen Restaurant should focus more on cleaning its filthy canopies, doors and windows (badly needs a paint job) rather than refusing to serve a fine person like Sarah Huckabee Sanders,” Trump tweeted. “I always had a rule, if a restaurant is dirty on the outside, it is dirty on the inside!”

There was far more incitement by liberals over the weekend. Ramping up the rhetoric with extreme and potentially dangerous words at a Los Angeles rally on Saturday, Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) called for attacks on those serving in the Trump administration: “If you see anybody from that Cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd and you push back on them, and you tell them they’re not welcome anymore, anywhere,” the Democrat told the crowd.

Waters also said, “God is on our side, on the side of the children, on the side of what’s right, on the side of what’s honorable.” (See her speak in the video, below.)

Former GOP Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee weighed in on the issue Monday morning on “The Laura Ingraham Show,” commenting on Maxine Waters’ provocations and providing exclusive details about what happened to the Sanders family after they were asked to leave the Red Hen.

Of Waters’ disturbing rallying cry on Saturday, Huckabee said, “It’s totally out of hand. What Maxine Waters said was irresponsible … I think it violates federal law for her to do that.”

Huckabee then told Ingraham about the continued hassling of the press secretary’s family Friday night after they left the Red Hen, as they were looking to share a meal together and enjoy themselves, some three hours from Washington, D.C.

“By the way. Laura, there’s a part of that story that has not been told,” Huckabee said. “You’re going to be the first to hear it … Of course, Sarah was asked to please vacate [the Red Hen restaurant]. She and her husband just went home — they had sort of had enough.”

“But the rest of her family went across the street to a different restaurant,” Huckabee continued. “The owner of The Red Hen — nobody’s told this — then followed them across the street, called people, and organized a protest yelling and screaming at them from outside the other restaurant, and creating this scene.”

He added, “One of the members of Sarah’s in-laws — who were there, by the way, most of her in-laws, not her mother-in-law and father-in-law, but most of her in-laws are very liberal — and one of them walked out and said, ‘Look, I don’t like Trump, I’m not a supporter, I’m a … considered liberal, but you guys are embarrassing me, and you’re not helping the cause.’ It was ironic, and he [the in-law] said, ‘Sarah’s not even here — you’re yelling and screaming at someone who’s not here.'”

Huckabee noted, This is what the Left is reduced to, and it’s really tragic — and it’s dangerous.”
