Tim Tebow has been working hard to help those in his home state of Florida after the destruction wrought by Hurricane Irma.

On Monday, the professional baseball player — who has always gone out of his way for others — spent time at a shelter for those in Florida affected by the storm.

The athlete met a World War II veteran there. And the elderly man played a song on the harmonica for him.

“Totally uplifted by this #WWII veteran, whose spirit and talents encouraged his fellow visitors at this Special Needs Shelter! #irma,” Tebow tweeted with the video attached.

Did Tebow have to do this? No. Does he receive anything for this? No. Is this typical among celebrities today, whether they’re actors, sports stars, musicians or others? Alas, no.
