Sometimes it seems Tim Tebow truly plays with God on his side.

Tebow left the on-deck circle during a July 29 St. Lucie Mets game against the Charlotte Stone Crabs to greet a young fan — and the interaction was captured on video.

Unbelievably, Tebow then hit a three-run homer.

The young fan, Seth Bosch, has high-functioning autism and suffers from neurofibromatosis, a genetic disorder that produces tumors on the nerve tissue. The condition has led to a tumor behind his right eye, which makes it hard for Bosch to play sports.

He was emotional and grateful that Tebow came over to him; before the game, he had told his mother he wanted to meet the athlete.

“When Seth came back to his seat, he was crying,” the boy’s mom, Ileanna Bosch, told the Tampa Bay Times. “And then Tim hit the homer. I started crying, too. How does that happen? I think God brought Seth and Tim together.”

After the game, Tim Tebow took the time to meet the young man again.
