A former Planned Parenthood patient claims a doctor at the clinic told her the medical staff would likely break her baby’s neck if the infant were born alive during the abortion.

“We don’t tell women this, and a lot of women don’t even ask this question, but if [the doctor] was to proceed with the abortion and the baby was to come out still alive and active, most likely we would break the baby’s neck,” a female Planned Parenthood doctor allegedly told a woman in St. Paul, Minnesota.

The anonymous patient in Minnesota went to a Planned Parenthood clinic for a late-term, two-day abortion, according to a video from Pro-Life Action Ministries. The woman’s child was at 22 weeks gestation.

The woman says it was almost as if the Planned Parenthood doctors were trying to push her into going through with the abortion.

“The more I was telling them ‘no,'” the woman says in the video, “[the] more [it seemed like] they were trying to sell me something, like a seller that pushes you and pushes you until you buy their item or their product. That’s how it felt, as if they were trying to sell me this abortion.”

The woman’s testimony, as produced in the video by Pro-Life Action Ministries, is below. Pro-Life Action Ministries, based in St. Paul, is an interdenominational, Christian organization dedicated to publicly defending the sanctity of human life. It seeks to save lives “through peaceful direct-action and educational projects,” as it says on its website.

On day one of the procedure, the woman’s baby survived the attempted injection of digoxin.

“The woman had started to have a change of heart following this injection, after reading the information given to her by Pro-Life Action Ministries’ sidewalk counselors on her way into Planned Parenthood,” Debra Braun, education director at Pro-Life Action Ministries, wrote in a media advisory on June 27.

“In the new video, the woman said she requested an ultrasound on the second day to see if her baby was still alive, and when it revealed that he [the child] was [still alive] and she learned what [Planned Parenthood] abortionists would do if [the child were] aborted alive, the woman demanded the dilators be removed so that she could go home and keep her baby.”

After her horrific experience, the woman gave birth to her baby at full term.

“Planned Parenthood in Minnesota must be investigated,” Brian Gibson, executive director of Pro-Life Action Ministries, said in a statement. “How many other laws are they willing to, and most likely, violating? We have no idea since there are no inspections, no compliance checks, and no investigations when these ugly realities come to light.”
