Former Milwaukee County Judge Hannah Dugan has walked away nearly untouched after being convicted of a felony for helping an illegal alien escape arrest by federal immigration officers.
Instead of facing the jail time that ordinary citizens would expect for obstructing justice, Dugan was handed a minuscule five thousand dollar fine and no probation whatsoever.
Dugan’s case centers on a now infamous incident from April 2025 when she intentionally helped a Mexican national, in the United States illegally, avoid Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents waiting to take him into custody at the Milwaukee County courthouse.
The move stunned law enforcement officials and outraged Americans who believe no public official should be above the law.

After months of proceedings, the former judge was convicted in December 2025 of felony obstruction.
The conviction was seen as a victory for accountability until Wednesday’s sentencing revealed that consequences for the politically privileged often look very different from those imposed on average Americans.
Many critics are calling it another example of the two-tiered justice system that conservatives have long warned about.
When someone with power and connections purposely interferes with federal agents, the expectation is that a felony conviction would carry actual punishment.

“What we saw here was an abuse of authority,” said one state representative.
“If our laws don’t apply equally, we do not have justice, we have privilege.”
Many also point to a broader trend in Democrat-run states and cities where judges and local officials obstruct federal immigration enforcement.
Sanctuary city policies, often promoted by left-wing politicians, have emboldened public officials to take matters into their own hands by shielding illegal aliens.
Dugan’s case is the natural outcome of that ideology.
The federal government has not indicated whether further charges will be pursued.
Citizens who still believe in border security and the rule of law are left to wonder why liberal officials seem immune to punishment for their activism.

She should be disbarred, and serve jail.time in regular prison.
This isn’t anything new. What has happened, for decades now, is the lowering of standards, lowering of morality, lowering of ethics, lowering of personal responsibility, lowering of restitution, lowering of discipline and lowering standards that all come from creating case laws and taking away Equal Justice.
This isn’t something that just happened, this was done by design by the Progressive’s that have put in place everything but any of the above in their accountability as lawyers, attorneys, judges, mayors, governors, politicians, etc.
So, the fix is hold them accountable as if they committed the crimes by those that put back on our streets as if they physically created them…because their actions have done just that.
There have been many murders, raping, molesting, pedophiles, kidnappers and terrorists because we have lowered the standard to creating activists that wear many titles…and never held accountable for their actions.
There’s a reason they are going after taking away our guns.
There’s a reason they have done everything to demonize the Death Penalty. Because if we ever start holding them accountable in what they have used to profit off us politically, financially and illegally through crimes and criminals they support, and are their primary political base, there will be MILLIONS running for their lives out of America.
Prisons are supposed to be a place no one wants to go, only the criminals pay for their crimes, a limited opportunity to be rehabilitated. We’ve allowed them to become recruiting grounds, to be resume’s for terrorist organization and the corrupt to use as tools to take eyes off who put them back on the streets. Not one murderer, rapist, molester, pedophile, kidnapper, real terrorist, anyone who causes, creates, aids and abets these as well as lies and accuses the innocent of these crimes, should be in any prison. they should be shot, cremated and put in a coffee can given to their families.Ever prison should have a firing squad pit sending that message to all of the above.
