White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt pushed back against comments made by Rep. Dave Min (D-CA) after he mocked her Christian beliefs on social media.

In an interview with the New York Post on Saturday, Leavitt addressed Min’s remarks and reaffirmed the importance of her faith.
The exchange began after Leavitt corrected reports regarding a federal funding freeze on January 29.

She stated that the freeze remained in place and that the administration had rescinded an Office of Management and Budget (OMB) memo to clarify a court’s injunction.
Min, however, accused Leavitt of being dishonest and referenced the Bible in his criticism.
“Thou shalt not bear false witness,” Min wrote on X. “Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt is a fake Christian, like so many in the Golden Calf Administration.”

“This is NOT a rescission of the federal funding freeze.
It is simply a rescission of the OMB memo.
Why? To end any confusion created by the court’s injunction.
The President’s EO’s on federal funding remain in full force and effect, and will be rigorously implemented.” – Karoline Leavitt
Speaking to the New York Post, Leavitt dismissed Min’s statement.
“I think it’s pitiful for an elected member of Congress to say that about a woman who he’s never even met,” she said.
Leavitt also spoke about her faith, making it clear that it is central to her life. “My Christian faith is a huge part of my life,” she said. “My faith, my marriage, my family life — it’s everything to me.”
The exchange highlights the ongoing tensions between Democrats and the Trump administration and its critics, particularly on issues related to faith and political discourse.
While Leavitt addressed the remarks directly, she did not engage further with Min’s accusations.
Min, who represents California’s 47th Congressional District, has not issued any further statements in response to Leavitt’s comments.
Leavitt, 26, is the first millennial to serve as White House press secretary.
She previously worked as the spokesperson for President Trump’s campaign before taking on her current role.
The White House has not commented on Min’s remarks, and Leavitt continues to serve as the administration’s primary media liaison.

The closest that California pig has gotten to Christianity is Time/Life.
Jesus was threaten by stoning after he criticized the synagogue’s tax seizure of a widow’s inheritance and was apparently rescued by the local towns-people. His wrath at the ‘money changers’ who sold shekels as the only coin that could be used to trade in the exclusive courtyard trade zoned area for merchants and led to his crucifixion. That was the Temple’s taxes on businesses, sales and the pursuit of a livelihood He disturbed
Jesus appears to be a tax protester.
You should know that the area the ‘money changers’ were using was known as ‘The Court of the Gentiles,’ a space outside ‘The Court of Israel,’ and was as far into the Temple pre-cincts the Gentiles were allowed to go. If they wanted to pray in the temple or worship together, this was it. So the ‘m-c’s’ truly turned ‘The house of prayer’ into a ‘den of thieves.’ The stranglehold the Jewish leaders held on the worship of the God of the Universe was terrible, and Jesus’ response was appropriate.
She did exactly the right thing–she ignored the A-C slur and answered the false report exactly the way a good Christian ought to have. ‘Don’t speak unless you can improve on the silence.’ Everything K L says so far is Press Sec GOLD.
Word.
This is a non-story. The hubris of the Godless Democrats trying to call out Godly people is disgusting, but so common as to be considered cliche’.
