Former federal prosecutor Jeffery R. Cummins has revealed that the US Department of Justice (DOJ) ignored bribery allegations brought forward by a whistleblower against President Joe Biden in 2018.

The whistleblower’s allegations are separate from the claims made by House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer regarding a criminal scheme involving then-Vice President Biden.

Cummins stated that he offered DOJ officials “a roadmap to get to the bottom” of the allegations and that he believed it was stonewalled.

The second allegation of bribery against Joe Biden involves Hunter Biden’s board membership in Burisma, a Ukrainian energy company, the New York Post reported:

Bud Cummins, a former federal prosecutor, first reported the bribery allegations to then-New York US Attorney Geoff Berman on Oct. 4, 2018, in an email claiming he had evidence that Joe Biden had “exercised influence to protect” his son’s Ukrainian employer “in exchange for payments to Hunter Biden, Devon Archer, and Joe Biden.”

In the email obtained by John Solomon’s Just The News, Cummins said that Ukraine’s then-Prosecutor General Yuriy Lutsenko wanted to travel to the United States to meet Berman, and could produce two “John Doe” witnesses to corroborate his claims about the Bidens.

According to Cummins, the then-US Attorney for the Southern District of New York, Geoffrey Berman, did not respond to the allegations but instead obtained data from Cummins’s iPhone through a grand jury subpoena to Apple, which appeared like “retaliation.” Cummins believes it is “perverse that you report an allegation of a pretty serious crime and they don’t investigate [it] but they were investigating you.”

Breitbart News has previously reported that there have been potential elements of a bribery scheme involving Biden and his family members’ overseas business interests for years.

Joel Pollak of Breitbart News claims that such evidence could support the impeachment of Joe Biden. Congressional investigators are currently attempting to create a timeline that shows federal law enforcement agencies were given information from 2016 to 2020 raising concerns about the Biden family business.

The recent allegations against President Biden were revealed by Comer and Senator Chuck Grassley (R-IA), who claimed that a document exists that alleges details of an exchange of money for policy decisions between Biden and a foreign national.
