“All they [Republicans] do is talk about crime, crime, crime,” noted Joy Behar.
“Murders in major cities have fallen by 4% so far in 2022, compared with the same period a year ago, so crime is not on the rise — it’s actually going down under Joe Biden.”
But she only cited murder… And that’s misleading.
Because if you check NYPD’s website, murder in NYC is down 54%, comparing August 2022 to August 2021. But when you look at the OVERALL offenses, crime is actually up 26%.
