In Pennsylvania, the race for the open Senate seat has come to a boiling point after Democratic candidate John Fetterman accused his Republican opponent, Dr. Mehmet Oz, of being a “puppy killer.” Over the past few months, both Fetterman and Dr. Oz have criticized each other and taken a deep look into their past. But according to a recent Jezebel report, Dr. Oz supervised experiments that resulted in over 300 dogs dying. While Fetterman tweeted about the cruelty shown to the animals, his own past reveals the Democrat supporting the release of a man who bludgeoned a teenager to death.

In 1989, Sean Daily found himself at the mercy of Alexiz Rodriquez and a gang. Daily, the son of a local officer, had no connection with Rodriquez or the group, but they believed him to be involved in an earlier fight. Although they were wrong, the group beat Daily with a baseball bat and eventually shot him in the back. He was 17-year-old.

Where does John Fetterman fit in? According to Fox News, “Pennsylvania Lt. Gov. and Democratic Senate candidate John Fetterman last year cast the lone vote in a failed bid to free a man convicted of murdering a 17-year-old. Alexis Rodriguez is serving a life sentence in Dallas after he was one of five suspects convicted of first-degree murder in the 1989 killing of Sean Daily, a high school junior and the son of a Philadelphia police officer.”

The outlet added, “The Pennsylvania Board of Pardons, which Fetterman chairs, held a public hearing for Rodriguez on Dec. 1, 2021, and Fetterman cast the lone vote in favor of commuting the convicted murderer’s sentence.”

As for the current race, John Fetterman focused on Dr. Oz and his supposed experiments with animals. He tweeted, “I LOVE my dogs. Apparently, some sick people like Dr. Oz get their jollies by harming animals… We have a close race here in PA, and I could use your help to keep the #PuppyKiller out of the US Senate.”

It should be noted that in the above statement, John Fetterman is accusing Dr. Mehmet Oz of both experimenting and enjoying the harm he allegedly inflicted on helpless animals. What’s even wilder, it wasn’t just him. Fetterman’s wife, Gisele, also discussed the puppy killer accusations. She said, “It’s heartbreaking to read. He (Dr. Oz) was the principal investigator on these experiments. … They (the dogs) suffered quite a bit before death, and a lot of them were just found dead in the cages.”

She concluded her statement with, “Last night, I really held onto my dogs extra hard and showed them all the love I could. To know that there are people that could do these cruel things in the world makes me really just sad.”
