Although the Democrats had almost the last two years to control Washington, D.C., they find themselves struggling with the 2022 midterms just a few weeks away. Dealing with a mountain of issues like COVID-19, inflation, and soaring gas prices, Joe Biden’s stay in the White House has been heavily criticized as being lackluster. The only time the Democrat makes headlines is for stumbling or fumbling on stage. He recently looked to honor a fellow friend who passed away back in August. While the Democrats focus on the midterms, they have not forgotten the 2024 Presidential election.

With the Biden administration taking a dive in the polls, the Democrats might be looking elsewhere for the right candidate to drive their party forward. To add more stress into the mix, they don’t even know who is running for the GOP. There are rumors that former President Donald Trump could make another run for the White House, but he has yet to announce his plans for the future. Other key members who might end up on the ticket include Florida Governor Ron DeSantis. The Republican has gained a significant following for his handling of COVID-19 and Hurricane Ian.

While the Democrats might be weighing their options, according to NBC, Joe Biden revealed his intentions to Al Sharpton. “‘I’m going to do it again,’ Biden said as he posed for a photograph in the Roosevelt Room with Sharpton, who is also an MSNBC host, according to an official of Sharpton’s National Action Network who recounted Sharpton’s description. ‘I’m going.'”

The outlet continued, “During a group conversation, Sharpton reminded Biden that the two had sat down in January 2019 on the sidelines of an event commemorating Martin Luther King Jr.’s birthday. At the time, Biden had not yet declared his candidacy and was seeking Sharpton’s endorsement — or at least a pledge of neutrality — in a field that would include now-Vice President Kamala Harris and Sen. Cory Booker, D-N.J., both of whom are Black.”

Al Sharpton might have the inside scoop on Joe Biden, but during a 60 Minutes interview, he told CBS that he hadn’t made up his mind about 2024. “Look, my intention, as I said, that began with is that I would run again. But it’s just an intention. But is it a firm decision that I run again? That remains to be seen.”

Users weren’t all excited about another four years of Joe Biden as they wrote, “They’ll just steal the vote again via massive voter fraud like they did the first time. Our GOP buddies haven’t done much to stop it either, seeing as the majority of them are RINO scum. God forbid we see a second Brandon term — our country will be unrecognizable.”
