While the Biden administration claims the country is still in a pandemic, Americans haven’t forgotten how the government used the coronavirus to spread a plethora of mandates and restrictions. Supposedly in the best interest of citizens, the government supported lockdowns, mask mandates, and social distancing. With each one not doing much to stop the virus from spreading, the Biden administration moved on to the COVID-19 drug, which was also mandated in some states. Although Americans criticized the idea of forced jabs, the aftermath of those unlawful mandates is still being seen today. Recently, a former New York Fire Department Captain lashed out at the city council for losing his job due to the COVID-19 jab.

In the video, which can be watched below, Brendan Fogarty, a former fireman, attacked the council for allowing him to put his life on the line but restricted him from eating in a restaurant. “I was a captain for the New York City Fire Department. I served for 20 years, and I went from being essential to being disposable from the mandates. And my religious exemption was denied. And I received those threats of termination, and I retired. I would love to go back to my job. I gave my best years to this city, 20 years from 21 to 41, and then they take it away. At the peak of my earning career, I made it to captain. I went through that process. You should be ashamed of yourselves.”

Brendan Fogarty continued, suggesting that the government’s goal was to segregate the public. “We’re going to be on the right side of history. The people who are against us are against civil rights and religious freedom… Eric Adams is going to be on the wrong side of history. The same people who thought slavery was okay. The same people who thought segregation was okay. You segregated us!”

With the crowd behind him, supporting his freedom, Brendan Fogarty concluded, “I was allowed to work in this city, but I wasn’t allowed to eat in a restaurant in this city. I was allowed to work through the pandemic, but I wasn’t allowed to eat in a restaurant. I could wear the uniform and go to a burning building but not eat here. What’s wrong with you people? Trust the science. You guys are f*cked up!”

Just a few months ago, a religious-freedom group revealed a class-action lawsuit against people like Fogarty being forced to get the jab or lose their job. The New York Post reported, “The suit was filed by New Yorkers for Religious Liberty on behalf of 13 named city workers — including FDNY Capt. Brendan Fogarty — who face ‘immense pressure’ to choose between their faith and their jobs, court papers say. The vaccines may blunt the severity of the disease, but the evidence does not support an assumption that they stop infection with and transmission of [COVID] to others.”
