While the Democrats criticize Florida Governor Ron DeSantis for transporting migrants to northern states, he works tirelessly trying to prepare his state for the oncoming Hurricane Ian that is already being classified as a Category 4. With experts predicting the hurricane to pummel Florida, causing upwards of $45 billion in damages, CNN’s Don Lemon decided to speak with Acting Director of the NOAA National Hurricane Center Jamie Rohme about the hurricane. But instead of asking what citizens should do or how people can keep their loved ones safe, the host decided to use the moment to talk about climate change and how it could be the cause of Hurricane Ian. The only problem, Rohme quickly shut him down, stating, “I don’t think you can link climate change to any one event.”

In the video, which can be watched below, Don Lemon seemed to care little about the millions of people who have evacuated or the multiple state of emergencies given by Governor Ron DeSantis. “Can you tell us what this is and what effect climate change has on this phenomenon?”
Not taking the bait and turning the segment into a political debate, Jamie Rohme answered, “Well, we can come back and talk about climate change at a later time. I want to focus on the here and now. We think the rapid intensification is probably almost done. There could be a little bit more intensification as it is still over the warm waters of the eastern Gulf of Mexico, but I don’t think we’re gonna get any more rapid intensification. If you look here, you can actually see. Pretty interesting for your viewers. You can actually see a second eyewall forming around the inner eyewall. And that’s basically the second eyewall has overtaken the original eyewall, and that should arrest development.”
Pushing the CNN narrative that climate change is the cause of all storms, Don Lemon continued to press the issue, asking, “what effect is climate change to have on this phenomenon that is happening now? Because it seems these storms are intensifying. That’s the question.”
Again, Jamie Rohme fought against this narrative, explaining, “I don’t think you can link climate change to any one event. On the cumulative, climate change may be making storms worse, but to link it to any one event. I would caution against them.”
Online users criticized Don Lemon’s stance, with some using data. Chief Nerd shared, Here are the top 10 most intense Atlantic hurricanes by wind speed and pressure at landfall. Why was no one screaming ‘Climate Change’ in the 1930s when they had these record hurricanes?”
Another person added, “When will this nonsense finally wither away and die? We’ve been hearing about climate change, hotter and colder, for the last 60 years!!”

Typical CNN damn the truth push out lies at all cost
Who gives a whoop about the perils facing Floridians, CNN and Lemon want to push their climate change narrative, much to the objection of climate scientists.

Lemon is “still” a Lemon!
Lemon is a moron.
Don Lemon still has not figured it out, CLIMATE CHANGE is a HOAX. Hurricanes have been taking place for thousands of years. Long before the democrats started the hoax. I guess when you are a liberal you can not see the truth.
Don’t try to confuse me with the Facts – the issues are ……
Climate change is a big lie and hoax. Deposits in soil borings for foundations show that climate change is natural and cyclical over the centuries. I care less about climate change, big money democrats generated and financed that lie. I am heating my place with coal this winter. Coal is not tied to rising fuel oil, electric, etc. costs and can still be purchased for around $270 a ton delivered.
