POLK COUNTY, FL – A human trafficking enforcement operation conducted by the Polk County Sheriff’s Office resulted in 160 arrests between suspected “Johns” and prostitutes, which among the arrested suspects were one Disney employee and one Disney contractor.
In what was dubbed “Operation Fall Haul 2,” the Polk County Sheriff’s Office’s Vice Unit launched a seven-day undercover operation on August 30th, having had assistance from numerous local police departments, the Florida Department of Children and Families, and several social services organizations.

According to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office’s press release pertaining to the successful operation, “Those who traveled to provide prostitution services were screened by detectives and the social services organizations to determine if they were being trafficked or exploited by others.”
During the portion of the investigation where detectives worked to identify possible trafficking victims, the sheriff’s office noted that two trafficking victims were confirmed along with five other “possible victims” of trafficking.
The Polk County Sheriff’s Office’s press release made mention of “noteworthy Johns” who were arrested during the operation, with two of them having ties to none other than Disney.
One suspect, identified as 57-year-old Guillermo Perez, was picked up on a single count of soliciting a prostitute, with authorities alleging Perez “responded to an online escort advertisement and agreed to pay $80 for a quick visit to have sex with an undercover detective.” According to officials, Perez happens to be employed at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort as a bellhop.
Another suspect, identified as 26-year-old Samy Claude, was hemmed up under a single count of soliciting a prostitute. Much like Perez, authorities allege Claude had agreed to have sex with an undercover detective after responding to an online prostitution advertisement. The 26-year-old suspect from Orlando was described in the press release as a “self-employed” photographer who was “often contracted by Disney.”
An astonishing suspect who found himself arrested in the undercover operation turned out to be a deputy police chief out of Georgia, identified as 49-year-old Jason DiPrima.
DiPrima served as the deputy chief of the Cartersville Police Department in Georgia, having been with the department for over 30 years and had “graduated from the FBI academy,” according to Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd.
The deputy police chief happened to be in Orlando for a polygraph training workshop when he allegedly responded to an online escort advertisement, later reportedly meeting up with an undercover detective and giving the undercover “$180 and a multi-pack of White Claw Hard Seltzer,” in exchange for sex. DiPrima has since resigned from his position at the Cartersville Police Department.
Sheriff Judd issued a statement following the wrap-up of the operation, emphasizing that “Prostitution is not a victimless crime” and that enablers of the illicit industry will be brought to justice.
“The online prostitution industry enables traffickers and allows for the continued victimization of those who are being trafficked. Our goal is to identify victims, offer them help, and arrest those who are fueling the exploitation of human beings (Johns) and those profiting from the exploitation of human beings. Prostitution is not a victimless crime – it results in exploitation, disease, dysfunction, drug and alcohol addiction, violence, and broken families.”
