Following the raid of former President Donald Trump’s property in Florida, many Republicans and Americans questioned the motives behind the FBI and DOJ, wondering if they were acting under the guidance of the Biden administration. Donald Trump quickly criticized the agency as being nothing more than a weapon used to attack him. While some might find the statements outlandish, the weaponization of government agencies to push the agendas of the White House extends far beyond Donald Trump. On August 25th, a man named Nick, who lives in Florida, shared a video of several ATF agents questioning him about a solvent trap he uses to clean his guns. And to make the encounter even more alarming, they didn’t have a search warrant.

In the video, which is featured below, the man is bombarded with questions by the agents as they seek to confiscate the solvent trap. Although used during the cleaning process, the tool can be converted into a suppressor. Nick stands his ground since the agents had no search warrant, and owning a solvent trap is not illegal. Still, the agents inform him, “you’re obviously going to be on the radar now,” even adding, “we know what you’re using it for.” Take a look.

On June 23rd, Joe Biden released a statement after the Supreme Court ruled to “strike down” the New York State Rifle & Pistol Association v. Bruen. The Democrat stated, “In the wake of the horrific attacks in Buffalo and Uvalde, as well as the daily acts of gun violence that do not make national headlines, we must do more as a society — not less — to protect our fellow Americans. I remain committed to doing everything in my power to reduce gun violence and make our communities safer. I have already taken more executive actions to reduce gun violence than any other President during their first year in office, and I will continue to do all that I can to protect Americans from gun violence.”

With the Supreme Court not on his side, Joe Biden turned to individual states, proposing, “I urge states to continue to enact and enforce commonsense laws to make their citizens and communities safer from gun violence. As the late Justice Scalia recognized, the Second Amendment is not absolute. For centuries, states have regulated who may purchase or possess weapons, the types of weapons they may use, and the places they may carry those weapons. And the courts have upheld these regulations. I call on Americans across the country to make their voices heard on gun safety. Lives are on the line.”

Users voiced their opinions on the video, writing, “Remove the black market guns and the stolen guns that keep ending up in criminals’ hands and leave legal gun owners alone, you communist ATF….”
