The spotlight often placed on President Joe Biden and his dismal performance in the White House shifted last week when the FBI decided to raid the residence of former President Donald Trump. Claiming that Trump possessed top secret documents he took from the White House, the FBI wasted no time taking over the Mar-a-Lago resort. At the time of the raid, Trump was visiting the Trump Tower in New York City. But while the mainstream media is fixated on the documents, apparently, the FBI also took Trump’s passports. Being returned to him, both the DOJ and FBI stated it was an “honest mistake,” but Trump’s attorney didn’t see it that way.

Appearing on The Ingraham Angle on Monday, Christina Bobb told host Laura Ingraham that suggesting it was an honest mistake gives too much credit to the FBI. “I don’t know about any honest (mistake). I won’t give them that much credit at this point. I think it goes to show the level of audacity that they had. If you’re going to execute a raid on the primary residence of the President of the United States, you need to do it perfectly. There’s no room for error. And when our 4th Amendment rights are at stake as a nation, you cannot be flippant in any way. So I don’t give them a pass that this was a simple mistake.”

Detailing just how far the FBI was willing to go to attack the former President, Christina Bobb added, “I think it goes to show how aggressive they were. How overreaching they were. They were willing to go past the four corners of the warrant and take whatever they felt was appropriate or what they could take. And then go back and look through and go, ‘Woops! Maybe we went too far,’ and then negotiate the return of it. And that is absolutely not how a warrant is supposed to be executed.”

Giving his own take on the raid, Donald Trump talked to Fox News Digital, admitting, “There has never been a time like this where law enforcement has been used to break into the house of a former president of the United States, and there is tremendous anger in the country—at a level that has never been seen before, other than during very perilous times.”

Another concerning fact about the raid is that Trump detailed how the FBI requested all the security cameras to be shut down and for his team to stay outside while the investigation took place. “They could take anything they want and put anything they want in. My people were asked to stand outside.”

Back in June, the legal team for Donald Trump met with the Department of Justice and even signed a written statement declaring that all classified material from Mar-a-Lago were returned to the government, yet the raid was still approved.
