With the 2022 midterms right around the corner, Wyoming is already getting a sample of what is to come as the Republicans continue to gain massive ground. But while voters in Wyoming head to the polls on Tuesday, Republican Congresswoman Liz Cheney grows increasingly concerned given her stance on former President Donald Trump and his supposed involvement with the January 6th riot on Capitol Hill. Since the riot played out on televisions all over America, Democrats and RINOs like Liz Cheney suggested that Trump instigated the growing crowd to storm the Capitol building. Now, as Republican voters look for other candidates to replace her, Cheney is hoping an unlikely force will support her – Democrats.

Although the future of Donald Trump is still unknown, given he won’t address his plans on running in 2024, he continues to throw support behind Republican candidates hoping to rejuvenate the GOP. One of those people is Harriet Hageman, who has a good chance at unseating Cheney.

Again, Liz Cheney has been a constant critic of the GOP and especially Donald Trump. On top of her constant criticism of her own party, the Representative also holds a seat on the January 6th committee. She is one of two Republicans that have a spot on the board.

With her future in jeopardy, Liz Cheney apparently requested Democrats vote for her in the primary election so she could keep her position. The only problem, during the primaries, only party members can vote for their given party. There is a loophole as Wyoming allows voters to change their party and vote on the same day. So, in theory, registered Democrats could support Cheney if they switch parties, vote, and switch back next time to vote.

Hearing about Liz Cheney’s calls for help, Harriet Hageman’s campaign manager, Carly Miller, saw it as nothing more than a last-ditch effort. “When Liz Cheney’s only hope is to appeal to Democrats to raid a Republican primary, you know she has gone all the way over to Nancy Pelosi’s side. Wyoming is fed up with Cheney, and it’s too late for any election shenanigans to save her.”

Helping Hageman, Donald Trump not only put his full support behind her, he even released a statement, saying the election was “one of the most critical primary elections in the history of our country. The whole world is watching this one.”

Trump didn’t forget about Liz Cheney either, adding, ‘This is your chance to send a message to the RINOs and the fake news media, the radical left lunatics, that we have unfortunately too many in our country, and you’re going to elect Harriet, and you’re going to tell warmonger Liz Cheney – so bad, so negative – Liz, you’re fired.”
