LANSING, MI – According to reports, new testimony from the trial regarding the FBI’s manufactured plot to kidnap Governor Gretchen Whitmer in 2020 revealed yet another facet of the FBI’s corruption in this controversial case.

Apparently, the FBI had asked the Michigan State Police to allow armed protesters inside the state capitol building during an April 2020 anti-lockdown protest – a protest where the optics served to further the narrative of alleged extremism permeating within conservative and libertarian circles.

This revelation came during testimony provided by FBI informant Dan Chappel at the retrial of Adam Fox and Barry Croft Jr., two men whose previous trial ended in a hung jury, likely due to the jury not being able to come to a consensus-based upon how deeply embedded the FBI was in this manufactured kidnapping plot.

Between August 15th and 16th, Chappel testified how the FBI had specifically gotten in touch with the Michigan State Police to have authorities allow armed men inside of the Michigan State Capitol on April 30th, 2020, during a protest that was sparked by locals angered by the statewide lockdowns.

Chappel, who was working for the FBI, was in attendance at said protest alongside members of the Wolverine Watchmen – demonstrating just how far back the FBI was sowing the seeds to manufacture this kidnapping plot.

During Chappel’s roughly seven-month tenure working as an FBI informant, he was paid rather handsomely compared to his postal work contracting job. He was able to quit to go full-time informant – raking in $54,000 in cash and garnering $6,000 in comped expenses along the way.

“Big Dan,” as Chappel was known within the circle he infiltrated, even scored a smartwatch and a $4,300 laptop from the FBI, which wasn’t even related to his informant duties as he asserted they were bought for schooling – but the FBI just decided to be nice and asked for the receipts and comped those items for him.

Christopher Gibbons, an attorney for Fox, pressed Chappel while he was on the stand, pointing out how Chappel – as an FBI informant – was only suggesting to the group entrapped on violent means to deal with Whitmer.

Gibbons noted how Chappel had even pushed the idea of shooting up Whitmer’s vacation home to the group, telling the witness, “You said it would look like a hunting accident.” Chappel acknowledged the aforementioned and admitted that he suggested ways to breach the governor’s front door but swore this was all a means to keep up his image within the group.

The defense attorney mentioned that every time Chappel spoke with Fox about how to deal with his grievances with the government, every suggested act was “domestic terrorism,” Not once did Chappel suggest to Fox that he should address his grievances in a lawful manner.
