HARRISBURG, PA – According to a report from The Gateway Pundit, Pennsylvania’s current Democratic Lt. Governor John Fetterman, who will be facing off against Dr. Mehmet Oz in November for a seat in the U.S. Senate, can barely string his words together following a stroke he suffered this past May.

Back in May, the New York Times reported on Fetterman having to cancel his upcoming campaign-related events due to him having suffered a stroke. Fetterman would be completely absent from any semblance of campaigning for two months, with him having only made an appearance for a Zoom conference in late July for his campaign volunteers.

The seriousness of the stroke Fetterman suffered can’t be understated, with even Politico noting that the “blood clot in his brain nearly killed him in mid-May,” adding that during his July zoom conference, his “speech was occasionally halting.”

While Fetterman was alluding that he’d be back on the campaign trail within days during the July Zoom conference, he in reality didn’t make his first public appearance until August 14th for what was a 10-minute speech before a crowd of supporters in Erie.

And by the looks of some of the excerpts from this speech, Fetterman clearly is still having difficulty putting words together.

The 53-year-old Democratic candidate joked during his oft-halting address, “Who would ever think that I would be the – the normal one in the race here,” although Fetterman is indeed hardly normal in many respects outside of his medical troubles.

One such aspect of abnormalcy is Fetterman’s attempt to portray himself as a sort of blue-collar family man, which is a complete divorce from reality considering he was financially supported primarily by his parents well into his 40s.

Prior to becoming Pennsylvania’s lieutenant governor in 2019, which reportedly carries a posh salary of over $200K a year, Fetterman’s only income was $150 a month as mayor of Braddock – a position he held from 2006 to 2019.

An article from 2019 regarding Fetterman prior to him taking up office as Pennsylvania’s lieutenant governor also acknowledged his parents supporting him for “more than a decade.”

“Financial success enabled Karl Fetterman to support the oldest of his four children in various ways eventually, which is notable in that the next lieutenant governor has not had a traditional job and paycheck in more than a decade…Karl Fetterman has covered his son’s living expenses for years, in addition to generously supporting his statewide campaigns and nonprofit organization in Braddock.”

Fetterman used to reside in a loft for which he payed $1 (yes, one single dollar) to his sister, who purchased the loft for $70,000 six years earlier before handing it off to her brother for a buck.

And if the financials weren’t worrisome enough, apparently black voters aren’t too thrilled about Fetterman’s history with chasing innocent black men down while toting a shotgun.

Back in January of 2013 – while Fetterman was mayor of Braddock – he claimed to have heard gunfire near the city library and decided to chase down a 28-year-old black man who was out jogging in the area, holding him at gunpoint while waiting for police. A police report notes that the man was clearly in jogging attire and had zero weapons on him, with the individual saying he thought he’d seen fireworks going off while he was jogging.

Fetterman, unsurprisingly, was not charged with any crime, as his position as mayor undoubtedly assured he wouldn’t.
