Although many Americans are moving past the COVID-19 pandemic and trying to get back to normal, the Democrats are eagerly continuing to fight the coronavirus and its many variants. Throughout the pandemic, the Biden administration, Democrats, and top organizations like the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention seemed to take a different stance with each new week. At first, there were lockdowns, mask mandates, and an enormous push to get citizens to take the COVID-19 drug. But now, years later, the coronavirus continues to spread. With the response from the government being lackluster and full of misinformation, on Wednesday, the CDC director, Dr. Rochelle Walensky, admitted that the public health infrastructure was not up to the task of handling such a pandemic. This comes at the same time she called for a CDC overhaul.

On top of speaking about the COVID-19 response disaster, Dr. Rochelle Walensky sent an email to roughly 11,000 employees at the CDC, stating, “For 75 years, CDC and public health have been preparing for COVID-19, and in our big moment, our performance did not reliably meet expectations. As a long-time admirer of this agency and a champion for public health, I want us all to do better. My goal is a new, public health action-oriented culture at CDC that emphasizes accountability, collaboration, communication, and timeliness.”

While admitting the massive debacle of the CDC, Fox News’s Laura Ingraham, as can be seen in the video above, wanted more than an apology from the director. She wanted change. For many Americans, the pandemic and the overreactions from the government led to many hardships. Some lost their jobs and houses and had to live from paycheck to paycheck, barely making ends meet. Acting as if an apology was enough seemed to send Laura Ingraham over the edge.

Before giving both Dr. Jay Bhattacharya and Dr. Peter McCullough a chance to give their own take on the apology from Dr. Rochelle Walensky, Laura Ingraham listed four ideas that the CDC should do immediately. For starters, the host simply put, “Fire Everyone.” Given the hysteria the CDC caused around America and the rest of the world, the Fox News host suggested a complete overhaul of not just the agency but the employees.

Second, Laura Ingraham called for “no more funding from special interests.” That was shortly followed by “Give up all patents.” Although a government agency, the CDC is extremely secretive about its special interests and some of the patents it may or may not hold.

And following the same idea, the host concluded that the top change that needed to be made was “complete data transparency.” While a great start for revamping the CDC, it is only a suggestion that the CDC most likely won’t implement. But they are sorry.
