NEW YORK CITY, NY – A group of three women are facing a number of charges after trashing a New York City eatery and attacking employees inside after reportedly being angered over the establishment having a $1.75 charge for extra sauce.

Things got rather chaotic over at the Bel Fries located on Ludlow Street in the city’s Lower East Side during the early morning hours of July 3rd, after three women decided to erupt in a violent outburst over the restaurant having a charge for extra sauce.

The incident was caught on camera, being filmed by one of the employees who was being attacked by the women while they also destroyed the inside of the eatery.

Said trio of miscreants collectively hurled items – to include a barstool -at the individual filming their violent exploits, jumping over the service counter and proceeding to continue their vandalism and assault of the employee.

Meanwhile, a crowd of people behind the counter began to cheer on the violent women, with one of the suspects opting to jump atop the service counter so they could twerk for their audience.

Again, this was all allegedly over the establishment having a $1.75 charge for extra sauce.

Overall, the three malefactors reportedly caused over $250 worth of damage, and left a male and female employee with numerous injuries, including lacerations to both of their heads.

Rafael Nuñez, the male employee who recorded the incident, spoke with Univision about the chaos that unfolded inside of the restaurant.

“They wanted extra sauce for the fries, and when we explained that it costs $1.75, they got upset. And that’s where it all started…We explained to them that this is a business rule and that it is the same for everyone, but they did not understand.”

Nuñez felt helpless in those moments because the aggressors were women, telling the news station, “I wanted to defend myself, but I couldn’t find a way, because they are women. It only occurred to me to take out the phone as a defense, in case something happened to me, so that it would be recorded.”

Victoria Baez, the female employee attacked during the incident, was disgusted over how patrons inside the establishment laughed while she and her coworker were being assaulted.

“I even turned on the alarm to scare them, because sometimes that works, but not with them. They didn’t go. And the saddest thing is that everyone saw it as a joke and laughed. No one stopped them.”

Police later arrested the three women involved, who were identified as 27-year-old Pearl Ozoria, 25-year-old Chitara Plasencia, and 23-year-old Tatiyanna Johnson.

All three were charged with robbery and criminal mischief, with Ozoria additionally getting hit with assault of a police officer, resisting arrest, obstructing governmental administration and disorderly conduct after allegedly hitting the arresting officer. Plasencia and Johnson also faced additional charges of criminal possession of a weapon.
