Joe Rogan is one of the most popular podcast hosts in the world, and he often speaks out against liberals and President Joe Biden. That’s why it may surprise you that he’s refusing to have former President Donald Trump on his podcast for one reason.
“I don’t want to help him,” Rogan said while appearing on “The Lex Friedman Podcast.”
Rogan went on to say that he’s had the chance to interview Trump multiple times, but always turned it down. That being said, he believes Trump has a good chance of winning, should he run for president again in 2024.
“Well, he’s running against a dead man,” Rogan said when asked what he thinks Trump’s chances are. “Biden shakes hands with people that aren’t even there when he gets off stage. I think he’s seeing ghosts.”
Rogan added that Biden’s recent appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” was an embarrassment.
“He was just rambling,” Rogan said. “If he was anyone else, if he was a Republican – if that was Donald Trump doing that – every fucking talk show would be screaming for him to be off the air.”
However, Rogan then denied that he is backing Trump.
“By the way, I’m not a Trump supporter in any way, shape or form. I’ve had the opportunity to have him on my show more than once. I’ve said no, every time,” he said. “I don’t want to help him. I’m not interested in helping him.”
“The night is still young,” said host Friedman. “We’ll see… I think you’ll have him on.”

This comes after sources said that Trump is considering announcing his 2024 run this summer, earlier than he’d initially planned. Thomas Gift, founding director of University College London’s Center on U.S. Politics, claimed to Newsweek that Republicans will be “irked” if Trump does this.
“The GOP wants the midterms to be a referendum on one word: inflation,” Gift said. “With price levels soaring to their highest levels in 40 years, gas hitting $7 a gallon in some cities, and most Americans believing the country is headed on the wrong track, Republicans can coast to big wins in November.”
“Throwing Trump into that equation would not only create a huge distraction for Republicans. It would give Democrats the opportunity to reframe the midterms much more around Jan. 6 and the future of Trumpism,” he explained. “Suddenly, what looks like a cakewalk for the Republicans in November might be anything but.”
It will certainly be interesting to see how this all turns out.
