WASHINGTON, DC – White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre is seemingly yet again demonstrating her inability to handle the role she inhabits, as she refused to directly answer a question from the White House podium about a voicemail where Biden was talking with his son Hunter about his foreign business dealings.

In late June, reports surfaced regarding a 2018 voicemail Joe Biden left for his son Hunter, which was reportedly retrieved via a backup of an iPhone XS stored on the infamous “laptop from hell,” as some would call it.

In the voicemail, Biden is telling Hunter “I think you’re in the clear,” when referencing a story slated to be published in December of 2018 from The New York Times about Hunter’s ties to Chinese energy tycoon Ye Jianming.

“Hey pal, it’s Dad. It’s 8:15 on Wednesday night. If you have a chance give me a call. Nothing urgent—I just wanted to talk with you. I thought the article released online, it’s going to be printed tomorrow in the Times, was good. I think you’re clear.”

Thus, with Biden leaving his son a voicemail in December of 2018 regarding his son’s overseas business dealings, the claims Biden made along the campaign trail in the lead-up to the 2020 election about not having discussed said dealings appear to be false claims.

Fox News’ Peter Doocy opted to put White House press secretary Jean-Pierre on the spot on July 5th, asking if Biden is going to maintain the position of never having talked shop with Hunter.

“Why is there a voicemail of the president talking to his son about his overseas business dealings if the president has said he’s never spoken to his son about his overseas business dealings?”

Jean-Pierre responded with Biden’s essentially now-debunked past assertions of never talking business with Hunter remains the White House narrative, saying, “Well, first I’ll say that, uh, what the president said stands. So, if that’s what the president said, that is what stands. And second…”

Doocy interjected briefly, quoting what Biden said amid the uncovered voicemail.

“Leaving him a voicemail about a New York Times article concerning Hunter Biden’s business dealings, and he says, ‘I think you’re clear.’ How is that not him talking to his son about his overseas business dealings?”

When faced with more explicit detail regarding the recently unveiled voicemail, Jean-Pierre seemingly exposed what the real White House position is on the infamous Hunter Biden laptop – telling the Fox News correspondent that the White House will not ever discuss any “alleged materials” discovered via said laptop.

“We’re not…from this podium, I’m not going to talk about alleged materials from the laptop. I will…I’m not…I’m not going to talk about alleged materials on the laptop. It’s not happening…Peter, I refer you to his son’s representative.”
