U.S. Navy Releases Cringe Worthy Pronoun ‘Safe Space’ Training Video Modeled After A Children’s Show [VIDEO]

While Russia continues their invasion into Ukraine and the Southern border sees record numbers of migrants crossing, the Biden administration apparently is more worried about helping transgender people feel more safe while serving in the military. Being a massive supporter of the LGBTQIA community and the push to expose children to subject material surrounding gender identity and sexual orientation, it should come as no surprise that the Democrats are now praising a new video from the Navy that was uploaded by Air Force staff sergeant John Vannucci.

Hoping to teach soldiers and sailors about the importance of proper pronouns, the video, which can be watched below, is the latest push for a more sensitive environment for those still discovering who they really are. 

According to the Washington Free Beacon, “The nearly four-minute Navy video emphasizes how members can create ‘a safe space’ for their colleagues by using ‘inclusive language’ that signals they are ‘allies’ who ‘accept everybody.’ Service members must take these steps to ensure they do not ‘misgender someone.’ The Navy also warns staff against pressuring an individual to disclose his or her gender pronouns, saying that colleagues may still be in ‘the process of discovery’ and not yet ready to provide this information.”

One of the presenters, Naval Undersea Warfare Center engineer Jony Rozon, was sure to wear a rainbow shirt to make viewers more comfortable with his statements, which included, “Using the right pronouns is a really simple way to affirm someone’s identity. It is a signal of acceptance and respect.” He added, “Instead of saying something like ‘Hey guys,’ you can say, ‘Hey everyone,’ or ‘Hey team.'”  

Sitting beside Rozon was engineer Conchy Vasquez who noted, “A pronoun is how we identify ourselves apart from our name, and it’s also how people refer to us in conversations.” She continued, “Another way that we could show that we’re allies and that we accept everybody is to maybe include our pronouns in our emails or, like we just did, introduce ourselves using our pronouns.”

And knowing that there will still be chances of individuals being misidentified, Vasquez explained, “I think the first thing to recognize is that it’s not the end of the world. You correct yourself and move on, or you accept the correction and move on. The most important thing I can tell you is do not put the burden of making you feel good about your mistake on the person that you just misgendered.”

Users shared their thoughts online, writing, “every single member of the base ought to not comply. let the commander spend all his time writing up article 15s, then refuse the article 15s and keep court martial boards busy wasting time.”

Another person added, “the Chinese are building super advanced aircraft carriers and launched their 3rd one last week while the American navy is making lgbqt videos.”
