I read a bunch of stories every day since I started doing this and I swear this is the dumbest one I read yet. That these stores get one or two tweets from mad liberals and pull stuff from shelves has got to be the biggest examples of woke stupidity in this country. I mean, the doggone thing is insane, as some conservatives point out in the backlash to the actions of the stores.
Fox: “Harris Teeter and Kroger are facing backlash for a decision to remove patriotic products after people complained.
A customer took to Twitter Monday to complain about Harris Teeter selling some pro-America items — that read ‘Give me liberty or give me death’ and ‘America, love it or leave it’ — saying they were insensitive as mass shooting incidents happen around the country.”
“Why are you allowing this type of item to be sold at your grocery store in Huntersville NC? Clearly in light of the recent mass shootings, you can understand how this IS NOT a good idea,” one Twitter user wrote. It has nothing to do with crime and all to do with the fact these Twitter types hate America because neither of those slogans is about guns.
“Thanks for reaching out,” the company said. “As soon as these items were brought to our attention we put a recall request into place and these items are being removed from all store locations. We appreciate your concern,” the company added. What a bunch of candyass wimps.

Another customer complained to Kroger about a drink sleeve that read, “Arms Change, Rights Don’t,” which the company also said would be recalled. Guess Kroger doesn’t like the US Constitution.
“110 Americans die every day from gun violence and most recently children, educators, health care providers, and family members were killed in mass shootings. Please remove them,” the customer said. The company said they would be recalling the items. Did the drink sleeves kill them? Then why remove them? If someone got beat to death with a hammer, remove all hammers from hardware stores?
Then real Americans fought back. “Are you serious? This is a stupid response. Not shopping at Kroger anymore for being anti-American,” one Twitter user said. “Ban assault coozies!” another user responded.
“102 people die per day in traffic fatalities. Can you also please make sure no coozies depict cars? Thanks in advance,” a customer said in another tweet. “3000 people die every year from food-borne diseases in the US. Please remove all your food items as well,” another account said.
Another person tweeted, “I have a family of 6 and spend almost $200/wk in your stores. Every weekend dozens of people are shot in Chicago. Many are children. I just saw you sell “Chicago Style Pizza”…this seems very insensitive. Please remove them from your stores.” Those folks get how stupid these stores are. Too bad the stores don’t.

These idiot leftists equate EVERYTHING with discrimination, Racism, Anti Gay, or anything else that their weak minds come up with. Something that is PATRIOTIC is NOT hurtful in any way. The murders of all those children were committed by a mentally sick person, and don’t make ALL guns bad, ONLY the people that are using them. This whole “Woke” business is getting very tiring !
Kroger needs to stop bending over themselves to make these No Nonsense groups seem viable. Quite the opposite. This No Nonsense group will try to berate the Company into giving up everything, that makes Kroger’s worth shopping at. Do not allow this Travesty, or you will lose your dedicated consumer.
It will get worse before it gets better until conservatives make it better.

This woke nonsense got to stop. (Sadly, I live in California – home of the woke imbeciles. I did manage to find a woman who thinks that “woke” is just as ridiculous as I think it is some years back, she’ll be the best thing I get out of California when I finally get back to the United States (I’ve felt like an expat the whole time I’ve been out here….))
