Megyn Kelly Shreds Ana Navarro For Using Disabled Brother As A Reason For Abortion

Over the last few days, both Democrats and pro-choice activists have blasted the Supreme Court ruling to overturn Roe v. Wade. While some claim that abortion is now illegal, it should be noted that the issue reverts back to the states. Still, giving countless reasons as to why abortions should be legal in all of the United States, guest host of “The View”, Ana Navarro, used her disabled brother and other special needs family members as a reason to keep abortion legal. Shocked, like most, Megyn Kelly criticized Navarro for her statement and reason for defending abortion.

During her time on The View, Navarro said, “And I know what that means financially, emotionally, physically, for a family. And I know not all families can do it. And I have a step-granddaughter who was born with Down syndrome. And you know what? It is very difficult in Florida to get services. It is not as easy as it sounds on paper.” She added, “And I’ve got another, another step-grandson who is very autistic, who has autism, and it is [inaudible]. And their mothers and people who are in that society, who are in that community will tell you that they’ve considered suicide because that’s how difficult it is to get help. Because that’s how lonely they feel.”

Again, shocked by her words, Kelly answered, “So, it’s really hard to raise autistic children and therefore abortion needs to remain legal on demand. It’s absolutely disgusting. I too, I have a nephew who’s significantly autistic and he’s amazing. And it has been challenging for his parents. But they put the work in to try to help him with the issues that he’s struggled with.”

Kelly continued, “He’s awesome. And the suggestion that a better alternative would’ve been to abort him because their life would’ve been easier suggests that she [Navarro] has absolutely no understanding of love. And how it works. And the gift of a child, challenged or not.”

One users, being a mother of a special needs child, commented, “my son was the biggest blessing in our lives. Yes it was hard, yes it wasn’t what we had planned for but he changed our lives for the best. His siblings are the most empathetic people you’ll ever meet. Selfless and compassionate because growing up with him they knew the world did not revolve around them. They learned that their brother and his needs came first. Now, they are beautiful spouses, parents and the best (adult) children.”

ana navarro is dried up husk of a woman. She has not compassion, no empathy. She is the poster child for why abortion should be legal in her case.
