According to a report from Infowars, former President Trump will announce his candidacy for the 2024 presidential ticket this upcoming 4th of July.

An insider reportedly told longtime Trump ally Roger Stone about Trump’s intentions to announce his candidacy on July 4th, which certainly falls in line with Trump’s panache for patriotism.

The 2024 race for the White House will certainly be an interesting one, considering political favorites cropping up on the right who constituents would love to see run for the presidency alongside Democrats seemingly distancing themselves from the current president, Joe Biden.

As we’ve covered previously here at Red Voice Media, Democrats are losing hope in Biden being able to run for office in 2024 – so much so that late night TV show host Stephen Colbert practically begged Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez to run for president.

Frequent CNN contributor Van Jones even voiced his concerns over Biden seemingly not being all there mentally while appearing on Erin Burnett’s program earlier in June, telling the OutFront host, “When he does badly – when he stumbles – you get nervous. And you wonder, is it just his stutter? Is he tired, or is something else there? So, I think people are just looking. Honestly, I think a lot of Democrats are like, ‘If this guy is ready to go, we’re behind him. But if he’s not ready to go, he should let us know.'”

But moving onto the Republican side of the aisle, one big question lies outside of whether Trump will run for office: Is Florida Governor Ron DeSantis eyeballing the presidency?

Earlier in June, Politico reported on a rather peculiar aspect of Governor DeSantis’ upcoming reelection bid in his state, notably that the Florida governor hasn’t sought Trump’s endorsement for his campaign.

While it could be merely a signal that Governor DeSantis feels as though it isn’t really necessary since he’s fomented his own brand of political currency that has seen him skyrocket to celebrity level within the Republican party, it could also be a signal he has aspirations for the White House.

But what is remarkable in all this, aside from Governor DeSantis not having delivered an answer on whether he’d run for president, is that straw polls have surfaced in recent weeks where DeSantis was actually leading in those polls.

Even podcaster Joe Rogan voiced his support over a DeSantis presidency, saying earlier in June on his podcast, “I think Ron DeSantis would work as a good president. I mean, what he’s done for Florida has been admirable.”

Who do you think would win the Presidency?

Yet there’s another question looming in all this 2024 talk: Will Trump and DeSantis run together on the same ticket, with DeSantis being the VP?

Former President Trump isn’t ruling out that scenario, according to reports, saying during an interview with Newsmax that he has a great relationship with the Florida governor and took credit for his rise in political stardom.
