While there are still a few months to go before Americans head to the voter box for the 2022 Midterm elections, the primaries are giving the country a glimpse of the massive wave behind the GOP and their plans to control D.C.. Although the Republican party has been the subject of intense backlash over the Roe v. Wade ruling, in Colorado, Representative Lauren Boebert easily defeated her Republican challenger, State Senator Don Coram, by garnering 64% of the votes.

The margins were so great that the Associated Press declared her the winner before 8:00 p.m. that night. Running on a campaign of being a drama-free Republican, not only was Coram beaten, but speaking on the victory, Boebert celebrated her win by praising the Supreme Court for saving the lives of millions of babies.

Broadcasting her speech, Fox News followed the Representative as she stated, “I’m thrilled the voters showed their confidence in me to continue being their Representative. Hardworking Americans recognize now is not the time to go along to get along. It’s time to stand up and fight for our American way of life. That is exactly what I will continue to do. Conservative Republicans like me are going to help take back the House in November, fire Nancy Pelosi, and do all we can to get our country back on track.” But as seen in the video below, when Boebert started talking about abortion and the Supreme Court, the network surprisingly cut away. Take a look.

Not even remotely worried about the mainstream media, Representative Boebert continued, “and now because of the Supreme Court because of the three justices that President Donald J. Trump put on that court. Isn’t that amazing? They thought they got rid of him, but President Trump still has some victories coming out. And because of them, life wins in America. Sixty-three million babies denied the opportunity to live their life, to live their fullest potential. But all of that is changing right now. Lives are being saved all across America.”

It should be noted that according to the Colorado Sun, thousands of Democrats apparently switched their affiliation to unaffiliated to be able to cast a vote in the GOP primary. Hoping to bombard Coram with extra support to beat Boebert, the voters weren’t able to put a dent in the backing for the Republican. During the watch party on Tuesday, Coram warned, “Going back 250 years, General Washington warned excessive partisanship would be the biggest threat to our country. What we saw today in the Jan. 6 hearings tells us there is trouble on the horizon. If we don’t get our house in order and elect people with honor and integrity, this nation will not survive.”
